Dinner with friends in this restaurant with a view of the ocean. The decor is modern with pretty contemporary paintings. The staff made us feel very comfortable with a warm welcome. The starters offered are very good and in normal quantity. The dishes, on the other hand, are for very big eaters! The current poutine is excellent but there may be a little too much to eat for ordinary people. The ribs were very well cooked but again, you have to be hungry to finish! Very nice dining experience.

Unacceptable service for this type of restaurant, despite the server's good intentions. Still a good restaurant to try given the limited choices on the island, but lower your expectations.

Professional and courteous service.
The only point is that they are independent of the hotel so you cannot charge your meal to your room.

Based on reviews we were expecting a good food experience. However, we left somewhat disappointed when compared to other highly recommended local restaurants. We found the food well presented, but it did not match the other meals in taste we had over our 5 day on Les Iles de la Madeleine stay at the other establishments with a similar price. It might have been an off-night.
On site restaurant with reasonable meal choices and menu in French but waitress speaks English well to translate.

Wow what a place! I had no expectations for the food at Île-de-la-Madelaine and I was pleasantly surprised! The service was impeccable, chef Sam made varied and delicious menus all week and the owner was kind and attentive. A must if you go to Île-de-la-Madelaine!
