Delightful cozy and delicious. Family friendly, warm and welcoming. We had the Zurich style veal with mushrooms and spazl, and the spaghetti carbonara with pancetta, chives, parmesan, and egg. Both were wonderfully rich and delicious. Imagine the perfect veal mushroom sauce soaked up with a fresh crust of french bread...and youll be close the the heavenly meal we had. Great service and a charming locale. Worth the trip.

There seemed to be a genuine effort made to innovate on classic recipes. Unfortunately, the result was sorely disappointing. The fish was over cooked, the carbonara was bland and unauthentic and the tartar was syrupy. Thank goodness for the attentive staff and charming location by the river.

This is a superb choice for a really special occasion, or anytime when you want to eat great food. The terrace is just above a river overhung by trees, with a view of a stone mill in the distance. The service is the best kind of attentive, never intrusive, and the food is out of this world -- imaginative, made of excellent ingredients, and presented by people who must be artists in their spare time. Bravo!!

This is our fourth time to Lyvano. The family is delightful, the atmosphere magical, and the food superb. The setting next to the river is lovely and the service warm and professional. I cannot recommend Restaurant Lyvano too highly.

Stopped into this lovely spot with our two young kids on our way home from a ski trip. It was a busy Friday night and we did not have a reservation but we were quickly & cheerfully greeted and shown to an available table. The food (tartare, smoked salmon mousse, fish and chips, & carbonara) was flavourful, well seasoned, nicely presented, and downright delicious. Desserts that followed were also a hit with special mention to the decadent cheesecake that my daughter reluctantly shared a couple bites of. The service was attentive, warm, and very friendly. The dining room was full, and yet service was fluid throughout - an exceptional job done by only two ladies managing the floor. Thank you to both the kitchen and service team for a fantastic meal; we will certainly be back the next time we are in town!
