With a room, you get a coupon for a percentage off dinner, and breakfast at the Saint-Hubert next door. Room was clean, the showers hot and good pressure.
It's really a nice hotel, close to the centre of the beautiful town of Gaspé.
I really liked this hotel. The room was large and there were plenty of towels.
Very pricey !!!
Clean rooms
Fantastic location, great staff, very friendly and accommodating
Older location, well maintained very clean and comfortable and quiet
Highly recommended great value for the price
Staff were nice and place was nice too and clean but the air conditioning had so much noises we couldn’t sleep because of that noises .
This hotel was clean, comfortable and a great location as we wind our way from Toronto through Quebec headed for the east coast. Restaurants and the wharf are a short walk away.
Really disappointed ..room.smelled awful..
Fridge didnt work
Ac was super.loud
No ice anywhere
I stayed in the first floor, the room was outdated, there was one bug on my bed, and the bathroom had a very strong smell.
The room very clean, the location close to St Hubert, Tim Horton, gas station.
The guy in the front desk don’t speak English only French.
Working in the Hotel and public you have to speak more the only French.

Rooms were clean and well organized.
Service was not that good, basic things were missing in the rooms and we had to call customer service multiple times.
location was superb in the main downtown area.
The Rodeway Inn exceeded our expectations!/Le Rodeway Inn a dépassé nos attentes !
After spending a couple nights at the Rodeway Inn our over all experience was amazing and fresh feeling. The room was the perfect size as we spent most of our time exploring and seeing Gaspésie so we didn’t need anything bigger. The hotel is perfect for anyone looking for a safe, clean, modern room at a fair value. Staff made us feel comfortable checking in even with our limited French and checking in late in the night. We will be coming back soon and recommending the Rodeway Inn to our friends and family.
Walk the boardwalk along the water in the evening, it was so beautiful, safe and clean feeling. The hotel is so close to anything you’d want to walk to.
We found Les Créations Marie Gaudet (a five minute walk away) was perfect for finding some gifts for our friends and families and some BEAUTIFUL postcards to send out! Highly recommend walking down the Rue De La Reine and stopping in
Avoid at All Costs – A Disappointment in Every Way but One
I recently stayed at the Rodeway Inn in Gaspé, and I feel compelled to share my experience so others can make an informed decision. Let me be clear: the only redeeming element of our stay was the professional and sympathetic service from the front desk staff. She was kind, understanding, and did her best under the circumstances. Unfortunately, that is where the positives end.
Due to a large event in town, this was the only room available—we had no choice but to stay. What followed was a deeply unpleasant experience.
The most intolerable aspect was the odor. A pungent mix of cigarettes and stale incense clung to the room like a permanent stain. We kept both the window and front door wide open for an hour in an attempt to air it out, but it made no difference. The smell was embedded in the space and rendered the room nearly unbearable.
Adding to our discomfort were a series of maintenance failures:
The television only worked sporadically.
The air conditioning unit was entirely non-functional.
The heating system was unresponsive despite chilly evening temperatures.
And then there was the soundproofing—or lack thereof. We were woken in the middle of the night by four guests conversing in the parking lot. They were not shouting, merely talking, yet their entire conversation could be followed word-for-word from inside our room. This went on for an hour, preventing any rest.
What makes this all the more frustrating is that this hotel charges the same rates as others in town. There is no discount to justify the substandard conditions. The quality of this accommodation was so far below expectation that it negatively impacted our trip—and drove me to write this warning.
My advice is simple: do not stay here. Look elsewhere, even if it means changing your plans. Your comfort, rest, and overall experience depend on it.
Small room and not very functional to accommodate 4 people. The beds are small and uncomfortable. The pillows provided are equally uncomfortable. We had taken the trouble to book well in advance, taking care to specify which rooms we wanted to have (communicating rooms and without carpets) and when we arrived we were given other rooms than those we wanted (rooms which do not communicate and with carpets)! The WiFi is of poor quality. You can hear everything that's happening outside and the steps to the 2nd floor are very slippery in winter. At $150 a night it's too expensive. There was also a bad smell in the room when we entered. Really disappointed.
