“This place was great and for all ages. Since we didn't speak French, we had to wait a bit for a bilingual waitress, and she was fantastic. I ordered the fish & chips and was easily in the top 3 I've ever had. I also ordered a red ale, and as someone doesn't really enjoy IPA/micro brewery/craft beers, I really liked it. If it wasn't for the fact that we were on multi day motorcycle trip, I would've bought some to take home.”

“I don’t even know where to start. this place has the nicest waitress and the friendliest cook I’ve ever met. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with genuine smiles and such a welcoming vibe. The staff made me feel like family, checking in often without being overbearing and always making sure everything was perfect. Also we couldn’t eat meat so the cook went in the back to his chickens and made us FRESH EGGS 🍳”

“After moving here a year ago and not finding any really good restaurant (we re foodies) we were looking forward to the opening season of La Cantina Latinogaspesienne. We decided at the last minute today to go for a poutine and drink at Haldiman Beach. we arrived there to be welcome by a young and smiling cashier. After looking at the multi options menu, we decided to order the large merguez/peppers poutine. While we waited in the outside picnic tables "dining patio" the owner who was welcoming and chatting to his patrons, offered us to taste his homemade Gelato (not only do they make each flavor themselves, the coffee/cardamome one is an amazing not to sweet and delicate flavor in the mouth dessert!). The poutine arrived in a recycled cardboard foldable take out plate with two little soft wooden recyclable fork (yeah for environment friendly dishes/cutlery) . The poutine was excellent. an art to the eyes with the small bite-size merguez , but pack with flavor. But mostly, the gravy is what held these amazing ingredients together. Light, silky and with no after floury taste that some have. When I requested some more hot sauce to add some picante to my poutine, they gave us a jalapeños/coriander hot sauce they make themselves. Although we personnally thought it was not spicy enough for our own personal taste buds, the taste was packed with the zesty flavor of fresh coriander married perfectly with chilies. I would absolutely definitely give this a try if you are in Gaspé!”

“We went for breakfast. It was the best breakfast with bacon, perfectly cooked eggs, beans and hash browns. The toast was so delicious (made with home made bread). I would definitely recommend.”

“Took a 3 piece chicken meal and it was so good for 19$ I got 3 generous pieces of delicious chicken, a lot of fries, coslaw, gravy and a piece of bread and it was so filling and delicious. It is pricey but for this quantity and quality I would pay it just to try!!!”
