I wish I could give negative star. I have a bad experience since I arrived the restaurant. They only have French menu thus the server ask me to scan the QR code and see the English menu. It’s fine and we did but the app asked us to pay to place order. I want to ask the server about this but no one taking care of my table. They just avoid any eye contact with me. I waited for at least 15 minutes and still no one comes to my table and I can only place order through the app and approved the payment with security code, but the app return to the order page. I have to ask the server on this and get one response to me after 15 minutes finally. They told me there is no order placed and she can take order for me. Ok, I placed order again. Unfortunately, the mushroom risotto I ordered was very salty that we cannot eat. I only ate 1 spoon of it. I told the server but she just walked away and I am not sure what she is going to do. Finally she come back and I told her it is very salty again and she take my dish away and then come back with the same dish and told me the Chef said it’s their normal standard. I told her it’s really too salty and we are unable to eat and request to cancel this order. She just refused to do so but offer to give me dessert with same value. I don’t want dessert indeed but don’t want to create trouble for her and thus ask for what kind of dessert they have. She introduced 2 desserts for us and suggested we can try both. Later, she came back again and said the Chef can only give us 1 dessert not 2. I don’t understand why they can’t make what they offered to me and thus I insisted to cancel the order. Though I didn’t pay it at the end but I don’t think this service is acceptable. In addition, the mushroom risotto is a vegan item but they added ham on it, which is not shown on the menu. I will not go there again.

Great views if you can get a window seat. Service staff seem a bit ambivalent towards our presence. Missing cutlery etc which would be no big deal, but the food is the price point was quite a delta. Now, I get it Gaspe is far from everything and it takes money to get product there. We to another restaurant and the prices were a bit high as well, but the food and service was stellar! Top notch. So, if you are going to charge this much for food and drink, you better ensure that service and customer experience is also top notch. The food was okay, but not comparable to the price pointmm.

Unfortunately we didn’t not have a good experience. The restaurant is spacious and has a beautiful view. However, the food was disappointing. My sea food pasta was lukewarm, choppy and quite under seasoned. Expect the decent amount of lobster meat, the rest was mediocre. Did not worth the price. Besides that, the service was also slow.

We can not place a proper review as we did not have the opportunity to eat here as we were turned away at the door. Our family arrived along with the support of our son's certified autism service dog. We were told, as per their policy, they only accept MIRA service dogs for the blind. MIRA also provides autism and mobility service dogs, I wonder if they would turn them away as well? This is a ridiculous policy as we are not from Quebec and MIRA only services Quebec. Perhaps they are not aware that other certified service animal providers exist? Feeling angry and discriminated, we left peacefully to avoid upsetting our son. I can not recommend this restaurant on principle alone.

We had breakfast and dinner here. The window views were unbelievable. The two eggs breakfast was fine, the coffee was good, the ordered over medium eggs were made over easy. The lobster dinner was delicious the lobster was fresh and in season, the potatoes were stale, the asparagus were burnt to black. The mushroom pizza was flavorful, the crust was blackened too. La Gaspesienne 13, dark, chocolatey, was interesting. The service was excellent.

Not recommended for a family. It’s the restaurant in Gaspé with the largest floor space and it’s been twice that we’ve been judged for bringing a baby. They offer high chairs but they don't know where to install them because they are supposedly in the waitresses' legs even though there is a lot of space around them regardless of the section.
There are restaurants that are much more restricted in space and we have never had any disparaging comments in this regard. Whereas at home it is every visit and according to the waitresses it is a restaurant policy.
PS: The first time it happened there were 2 tables occupied throughout the restaurant, we were at the end of lunch service and we were still taking up too much space for the waitress.
So why do you consider yourself a family restaurant if a baby is too much for you to handle?

Very good food for lunch. Unfortunately the service is deplorable. 2 servers 1 bossboy around 8 tables and…. We take the order, we serve the order and then the service is invisible. In fact, we chat with their phone all day, no coffee stove because my coffee was finished when my meal arrived, but I didn't mind asking for a 15% tip. Unfortunately deplorable. If there was a manager on site probably they would be more focused on table service. $48 bill for 1 person
