I just went to order 2 burgers at A&W at the promenade and the service was very disgusting. The first cashier gave me good service but the second employee behind the counter left me speechless. She was sitting on the floor with her cell phone, coughing freely on her phone screen and onto her hands. Not just a little cough, no no, a bad flu and as if nothing had happened. She stood there until the other employee asked her to help. She goes to get my burgers but just before she decides to stop and goes to the sink to wash her hands. Wash is a broad word because she barely runs water on her hands, no soap, nothing, and she wipes them with 1 sheet of paper and goes to get my burgers. The fingers that touch my food, place them in the bag and have a good day sir. I just got home and I just threw my food away, I didn't want to take a chance. It's completely crazy that employee training standards are such a detail, you work in a restaurant and cleanliness is essential. Plus you have the flu and you work in the restaurant?? Serious?? Go to the A&W cameras around 8:05 p.m. December 6, 2024 and you will see the employee sitting there coughing. Completely unacceptable and I no longer have lunch 👍

Excellent service, super nice girls who served me

Disappointed, they don't pay attention to what customers tell them, you ask them to remove an ingredient they mention it
in the bill then once served you have the ingredient in question even though there are people who have food intolerances, this happened to me twice, certainly the last time I ate at their place

Almost every single time i’ve been there the service was terrible .The cashiers make you feel like you’re bothering them while it’s their job to take your order.The basics of customer service are literally just being polite and welcoming.I love the food but so many times i’ve decided to go eat somewhere else because of not wanting to deal with their unwelcoming attitude.Why do the managers put people that clearly don’t want to be there at the cash?

I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. The service was terrible, and the staff seemed uninterested in providing good customer service. I ordered a sandwich, and they completely messed up my order. When I asked them to fix it, they did so in a careless and sloppy manner. To make matters worse, it was a kid’s meal, and they still couldn’t get it right. I won’t be coming back.

La cuisine est parfaite c’est chaud, il y a du goût, mais le service dérape un peu l’employé au comptoir m’a fait attendre et au moment de prend la commande ils nous écoutais pas, ils nous ignoraient.
