Amazonas Peruvian Restaurant

A great experience! We sat inside, though the patio was available.
We shared Chupe de Camarones, easily enough for 2 people.
Our mains were Lomo Saltado and Seco de Cordero con Frejoles.
Drinks: Chicha Morada and Jugo de Piña.
My Peruvian friend says one of the best Peruvian restaurants he has experienced in Canada. Riquisimo!
The waiter was efficient and friendly

Firstly their chica taste like Christmas, and it's homemade. A lot of love goes into their food. Even their French fries are homemade. Their Ceviche is the pinnacle meal of gods. I'm personally going to go back, and roll out everytime i'm there. Fantastic food! Great to find this gem.

*UPDATE* 2025 STILL going to this lovely restaurant! The ceviche is still THEE best I have tried in North America. More than happy to drive 45 minutes out of my way to have their delicious food. Yucca “chips” are super delicious. Bring a big empty belly. Try and eat everything you possibly can. I could eat here every day no problem. Hand made, home made, fresh, delicious and nutritious. Crazy good !

Fantastic family run Peruvian food. Probably the best empanada I've ever had, and everything else was tremendous.

Food was really good, just like it's made in Peru.

I have been in 3 Peruvian restaurants. One in Montreal and two in Gatineau. This is by far the best one. The flavour is authentic, portions are generous and quality is really good.

It was our first time trying Pruvian food and definitely worth the half-hour drive. The food was delicious and very fresh. The service was fast. We would like to go back and try other meals. Everything seemed very authentic including the drinks.

Very authentic and tasty dishes prepared by chef owner. A great intro to Peruvian traditional cuisine.

No nonsense Peruvian food. Got the tamale, empanada and the mix grill. Really enjoyed everything and the mix grill was well spiced.
