Slippery Dobby

This visit wasn't poor, wasn't bad but embarrassingly bad.We arrive at the front door to see a notice posted saying they would have reduced hours the day beforehand for a staff party which is fine. We (a party of two) proceed inside and grab a seat at the bar as we normally do around this time of day which is around 12pm. After a few minutes we are approached by the hostess letting us know that they are short staffed and only have 1 server and would have to seat us at a booth. We happily move saying we would just like one quick drink.We were sat in a comfortable booth by the window. Little did we know that there would be a 30 person reservation right beside us. To no fault of their own, the reservation would be doing presentations. We felt that we couldn't even have a conversation without interrupting this group. There were many other open tables in the restaurant.Our server greeted us after about 15 minutes. She let us know that she had 6 tables sat all at the same time on top of the tables that she was already serving. We observed the big reservation to be unnoticed or even greeted for at least 30 minutes. They only had 4 menus to share between the whole party and were not even offered water to keep them occupied.The manager/supervisor on duty seemed to be completely unfazed by the amount of guests coming in. He made no attempt to say hi or apologize to the large group for the wait for service. After about 30-45 minutes the manager/supervisor approached half of the party to take the order and again did not make any effort to apologize for the wait. The other half of the party simply had to wait longer for any sort of service without any sort of greeting. This had been about 45 minutes after arrival.Our drinks finally arrive after 30 minutes and I have a very flat beer with no top off. We would wait another 15-20 minutes before being offered a machine to pay for our bill. During this time the large reservation beside us was presenting their awards. During one of the speeches a guests mentioned "I'm not even sure if we'll be able to eat here today."Half of the party's appetizers came out before the other half had even put in their drink/food order. Again, the manager/supervisor came up to the other half of the table without any apology for the wait and simply started taking orders.We left soon after this. My girlfriend and I are both servers. We were beyond embarrassed by the management. Our server was lovely and nothing that happened was to a fault of her own.

Great time! We had Paul (which has an awesome haircut) suggest the perfect drink and gave excellent service.The food was good and arrived fast. All in all, recommended.

The service was incredibly slow, I found hairs in my steak that I asked to be cooked medium-rare and it came out well done which was way too chewy for my liking. Will not be coming here again that's for sure.

a lot of mistakes on the orders, the food was correct but not 100%, the steak was perfect but the rest left something to be desired.the service was good but not 100% either we should have water at the start but we had water at the same time as the food, we had our alcoholic cocktails at the start and I think that's only pq its paying.

We went to dinner for a friend's birthday this evening.We were 10 people, reservation made for 5:30 p.m. We were about to order our dessert when he asked us to hurry out because the table was double reserved for another group at 7:30 p.m....Really very ordinary...Never again...even our waitress felt bad for us...Really a big congratulations Baton Rouge...

Wonderful experience.The food was hot and tasty.I had a filet mignon with wild rice pilaf. Delicious and cooked to perfection.Accompanied by small aldente vegetables which were unfortunately very weak. For the price of the dish there should have been more. But hey, they were still tasty.It costs approximately $50 per person, including taxes and excluding tips.You must try. Each group has its semi-private section. The heating was perfect because it's winter! ??Parking: The parking lot behind the restaurant is closed. You must park in an adjacent street.
