We were pleasantly surprised at the quality and quantity of the food. Being first time guests we had no outlandish expectations as we clearly understood this was a Bistro as advertised by the name however to our astonishment the food is top shelf in comparison to any 4 to 5 star restaurant. We were greeted by an attentive front of house staff as being catered to by an excellent waiter. The overall atmosphere, ambiance and surroundings are quite an eyeful. Being a rather large venue and lots of people you would think noisy and loud especially considering 200-300 people were there for dinner when we were there, however the ultra high ceilings allow the noise to evaporate and dissipate making it a pleasant dinner and conversation rather than a yelling match. Nothing really to complain about, but nothing really stand out either. The poutine was merely meh! cheese didn't even melt. This is a fast food version quality of a restaurant with higher end prices.

Had Club Sandwich, huge portion , excellent. My wife had wings, she loved them The lighting is very dated, hard to even read the menu, needs to be updated!

First this is not a buffet like it used to be. Very basic menu. My hamburger was cold and not fresh, like it had been sitting under a heating lamp for a while. Husband said chicken and ribs were just ok. They brought me a dessert to compensate for the cold and not fresh food. Would not recommend for what we ate.

Horrible service from a server. I waved at him as I wants to order dessert. He ignored me. Since we waited so long, we decided to skip dessert. I gave a $100 bill to pay for a bill around $42. He asked if I wanted change. He said, “i have to ask’. I couldn’t even stand him. The notion that I would reward bad service. He returned my change $50. He took $7 for himself already. Arrogant. Entitled. He was a horrible waiter which made my dining experience so awful. I was there last night also and the waiter was amazing! I gave him a 25% tip on my bill.

Wonderful experience and the food was delicious with an upscale atmosphere.
The French onion soup was good as always. We also had the steak, shrimp and baked potato. The shrimp was awesome and cooked to perfection. The steak was ok. Baked potato looked unappealing but tasted ok. The pumpkin crème brûlée was yummy. We found the price too high for the portion size along with the over all experience. As with everything prices are inflated and the quality continues to decline.

I am a regular customer to Banco Bistro, lately i find the food is becoming less tasty and the value of what i am paying is not as high as expected. Per exemple two months ago when i visit i ordered nachos, the plat was fair not huge as back in 2023 but it was fair, but last night when i order again the nachos i was shocked, literarily 10 nachos in the plate with 10gr of cheese! I was very disappointed. I prefer to pay for what i will get. 19$ plus tax for 10 pcs of chips are little bit over.

My wife and I recently visited this restaurant and were seated at a small table very close to others, even though the restaurant was mostly empty.
We attempted to move to a different table, but were told we could only sit there when the restaurant was EMPTY .
Frustrated by this , we chose to leave rather than stay at the cramped table.
The inflexible seating policy and overall service experience were disappointing.

Was my first experience eating there ended up ordering the burger,cochon took a while for the meal to come, but there after hardly saw my waitress the whole time there only at the end, of course when the tip is due !!

Nourriture correct sans plus. Service sans attention quand nous sommes allés un dimanche midi peu occupé. On étaient 6...on a presque oublié de me demander ce que je voulais boire. L'entrée de calmards frits ( très ordinaire) est arrivée très, très tard...vraisemblablement oublié lors de la commande ????problème d'imprimant parait-il.
