This morning my partner and I went to lunch at Ben et Florentine in the Plateau in Gatineau/Aylmer. Everything about this experience was unpleasant. The service was terrible. After we were seated, we waited 25 minutes for coffee and an hour for our plates. At least 7 or 8 tables got up and left before the waitress even came to check on them. The food had clearly been under the stove for a very long time, my eggs were crusty, my fruit on my waffles was hot, bananas had blackened because they had been on the plate for too long. Too bad but it was the last time we went there.

Very poor reception service and poor customer satisfaction service. more than 30 minutes without anyone coming to give us even a glass of water. And we returned without any service without eating. I am very disappointed in your employees and quality of services customer satisfaction.So the girls were walking around there and he didn't have many customers.

We arrived as a family and we hadn’t been there for a good 3 months. We were received. There were just 8 tables with customers with 4 table staff. When we were seated we waited about thirty minutes without even having water at our table. We had to decide to leave the restaurant following this poor quality of service. The service should be improved, it is very important.

We were seated promptly and the waitress was fast to see us. I had the ricotta toast with strawberries and side fruits and it was amazing. Stole some breakfast potatoes off my girlfriend’s plate and I gotta get those next time since they’re really delicious :) Great food fast service not sure why this place is rated so low. Will be coming back to try the other things on the menu :D

Food was OK, the service was terrible. If you speak English and or have a service dog don't waste your time here. The waitress that barely served us, seemed to have judged us on those 2 fact. Despite us being fully bilingual and being friendly.

I don’t usually leave google reviews but I felt I had to in this case, I really don’t understand why this place has any negative comments, I live nearby and I always go with my wife at different times during the day and different days, weekends or not. The service is always great, servers are cheerful and the food is very consistent and always great, I’ve tried many other places and I prefer this exact location. Hope this review helps!

completely awful place, i called for pickup the lady on the phone told me it would be ready in 15 minutes.. after waiting 1h20min i waved at the owner to ask what was going on with my order that i could see was ready with my name on it for the last hour and she gave me a dirty look and just walked away without answering my simple question on why someone cant just make me pay and hand me my food. i should add for the price you’re paying maybe they could actually fill up your plates!
