8 personnes sur une table pour 6 avec plusieurs autres table de disponibles. Coût pas mal haut pour la qualité de la bouffe. Correct pour prendre un verre et aller voir un chansonnier mais 50/50 pour le côté nourriture. Le service par contre est très bon.

Nous étions en visite à Gatineau pour un spcetacle et nous avons choisi la gargouille pour aller souper. Nous avons été agréablement surpris par ce restaurant. Le service a été très rapide et le personnel est très gentils. Il y avait un chansonnier, à notre grand regret, on a dû quitter pour notre spectacle, mais nous serions restés. Merci.

If you're going to charge premium pub prices you have to have your food and service on point.

Fish tacos and fish and chips were both way over cooked. The red onions on the hamburgers were cut way too thick. The child size poutine was ok, but you just feel fleeced. A Ceasar salad at $24. Honestly really just felt like lazy cooking. My whole group was disappointed.

Maybe the rent is high for the building or they play their staff a living wage but considering the location I highly doubt it.

Service was very slow and the food took a long time to come out to disappoint us.

Was curious to try it but definitely wouldn't return.

I’ve been to La Gargouille twice, once for dinner and once for lunch. I tried the beef tartare the first time and the fish & chips the second time. Both were really good, but I have to say I liked the fish & chips a bit more. The waitress was super nice, gave us good advice, and made us feel comfortable.

Love this place! The service is usually pretty decent but can be slow. The food is good. What wins this place a 5 star for me is the atmosphere and the live bands they bring in. Such a fun place to go for delicious cocktails and great music. It can be very loud though which is just something to keep in mind :)

What a great place! Amazing lively atmosphere, amazinly friendly staff, top quality live music and the food is fantastic and reasonably priced. I will definitely come back a lot more times.

A disappointment overall. Overpriced for what it is. Chicken tacos are inedible soggy, revolting. Smoked meat poutine: where is the meat for 30 bucks??? Service is substandard and there was an incredibly long wait. All that for 300 bucks....May be half.of the price would have been acceptable foe rhe quality and the experience. But then again why go to a restaurant for bad service and bad food

Notre réservation na pas été faite. Nous avons donc pas eu la table demandée. Le service etait tres lent quand il y en avait. La musique etait bcp trop forte

J'avais comme souvenir une nourriture excellente, ( steak et fruit de mers).J'ai été un peu déçu même si, je comprend que je n'avais pas pris des plats très fancy ( natchos et salade cesar). Lors de notre arrivée, le service du serveur était parfait, présent et drôle. Durant le repas et après , nous nous demandions s'il avait terminé son quart de travail car nos assiettes étaient finies et traînaient sur la table depuis environ 20 minutes . Notre pichet de sangrilla vides et personne nous as offert de commander autre choses. Nous avons accosté une autre serveuse pour pouvoir se commander un autre cocktail Je vais certainement y retourner pour donner une autre chance car l'endroit est quand même très plaisant . Peut être que mon choix de repas n'était pas optimal pour avoir la qualité reçu lors de ma première visite

Pretty mediocre. Fish were frozen and over battered. Kind of expensive for generic quality food. Service was good.

Awesome food, price vs. quality, wow. Everyone at the table were impressed with the food. The service slow and was limited due to limited staff. The waitress was great but had 12 tables + groups (strange staffing for a Friday night). Bartender super cool, came to see us.. very nice. I recommend. the AMAZING solo music act was nuts. He played everything with an amazing voice.

Soirée candle light avec Jay Trépanier ... tout simplement formidable... superbe ambiance, nourriture délicieuse... seulement le service qui laissait à désirer ...

Nous avons été voir un spectacle chandelles intime avec Jay Trépanier, le spectacle était sublime. Notre repas était excellent et l'ambiance exquise.

3 June 2025 We chose Bistro la Gargouille having never been here before and as we were attending a show at the casino, we were looking for somewhere close. The location is just great although there seemed to be limited parking onsite but perhaps more on the adjacent streets. Our party of four had the Lobster Mac & Cheese, Poutine la Gargouille, Poutine with Duck, and Fish and Chips. All reported their meals to be "good". There as nothing wrong with any of them but not outstanding either so fair to say they have good food. Our server was fantastic. Very friendly and accommodating. He was extremely busy as he seemed to be the only server working when we were there, but he was more than able to handle the tables very professionally. The place itself is very nice, casual bistro - very good. Overall a very good experience. We will definitely return and I would absolutely recommend this as a restaurant worth visiting.

Nous étions sur la terrasse, le service a été très lent pour l'ensemble du repas et à deux reprises, j'ai du demander à la serveuse pour mon verre de vin, et elle m'a avoir oublié! Puis, il y avait un seul choix de vin rosé au verre sur le menu et il n'était pas disponible. La serveuse m'informe que la commande arrivera dans environ 10 minutes si je veux attendre ..... Très particulier comme situation! En espérant que l'expérience sera meilleure la prochaine fois. Merci Marion
