We were blown away by the incredible service from Alex Edouardo! Having visited many Mexican restaurants—especially around Ottawa—this one truly stands out. The food we enjoyed this afternoon was absolutely delicious, with generous portions and beautifully prepared dishes that exceeded our expectations. The patio added to the charm, adorned with vibrant Mexican décor that made the atmosphere feel festive and authentic. We’ll definitely be coming back—again and again!

Literally the BEST place in town. Mexicana 129 has been in my top 3 restaurants of all time for the past 10 years, and for good reason! The quality is consistently amazing, the flavors are always on point, and the vibes are unbeatable (plus, the patio is simply gorgeous).
I can’t recommend this place enough. If you haven’t been yet, you’re seriously missing out.

It was an alright experience. Not the most impressive food. The beef burger was pretty good, the nachos were fine, everything else wasn’t all that good. Didn’t finish a single dish. Not the best way to spend your money eating.
