I went on a Ramadan iftar buffet dinner. I love their lamb (Tajin) and salads. The chef was very nice and the service was great.

I had a few friends over at my place, and Fatima prepared me a magnificent, tasty and hearty meal. Among other things, the Harira soup was delicious, and the lamb shanks were so tender...all very successful dishes! Thank you Fatima!!!

What a pleasant surprise. Was looking for a buffet and chose this location after making a few calls. Excellent food and service. The lamb was especially delicious.

I just got back from Morocco (my partner is Moroccan and lives there but I am Canadian) and all of the food at Chez Fatima is so authentic. I showed him all the restaurants in Ottawa and photos of the food and asked him which one looked most Moroccan and he chose this one. Owner is so warm and kind and so are the servers. You can either do the buffet or the a la carte menu which is what we did. I’d recommend if you want to try everything, come after 6-630 as some items aren’t ready if you come earlier right when they open. We got there at 5:30 and tried to order pastilla but it wasn’t ready and other guests who arrived 30-40 min later were able to order it so just something to keep in mind. Food is amazing, flavourful, and the chef/owner comes out to speak with you! Well worth the visit.Vegetarian options: There’s lots of vegetarian options, including vegetable tagine, Moroccan salads, harira soup, couscousParking: There’s a parking garage around the corner called the Leduc lot and it is free after 5:00pm until 6am.

First time visit a week ago. The restaurant is very ordinary. Presented as family food. It is rather a buffet. Prices are not the ones shown on the website which are for delivery. Even the photos are not accurate. The food was not fresh or attractive. The couscous was rather spongy. The meat was stiff, overheated. The price is hefty for the place. Close to 100 $ for two persons. No service table. The fish never came. The one star is for the dessert. One leaves with the food odour attached to the clothes and body. Not worth the hype.

It was the first time that me and my family went to Fatima. It was a great discovery. The couscous accompanied by Méchoui was succulent. The service is impeccable with a warm welcome. I highly recommend this place and will happily come back.

First of all, I don't understand the opinions, it makes you wonder if they're the ones writing them. It's not good. The food is lukewarm, little choice. The prices are EXORBITANT! It's dirty, a mess and the staff are extremely noisy and disruptive. They don't let us eat in peace, they continually come to our table and it's not even to serve us. We had to ask them to come and serve us or serve us otherwise they wouldn't come. They didn't offer us anything. It took 10 minutes to get a high chair for my daughter and then no one explained how it worked. We weren't sure if we should immediately go and help ourselves. We waited for 10 minutes before finally getting up and asking someone if we should help ourselves. The staff is really annoying. They won't stop yelling and they're in the way. Worst experience of my life.
