While passing through the area, I wanted to try some poutine. From the outside, it didn't look much, and inside, the decor was basic. Nothing serious if the food is good!
The prices were high, but I figured it might be worth it. Unfortunately, the service was effortless, and the restaurant was not very clean.
The fries were limp, greasy and of poor quality. The sauce had a strange smell and didn't improve anything. I don't base my opinions on steamed dishes or dishes that you can't fail—for me, a good poutine is perfectly cooked fries and an excellent sauce. Here it was a failure

We're going to make Lou's a stop every time we visit Gatineau in the future. The steamies and chips are old school .... Reminds me of the old time chip trucks in LaSalle and Verdun in the 70s. ..... Fantastic!!!!
