I stopped by Chocolats Favoris in Gatineau and tried their baby and mini soft serve. While the ice cream and chocolate coating were tasty, I couldnât help but notice that the portion size was quite small.
The âminiâ here is comparable to the baby size at other franchises, but actually looked even smaller than those âbabyâ portions.
Great flavour, but if youâre expecting a generous serving for the price, you might be a little disappointed. I would suggest you to go other franchises to get bigger portions by sending the same amount of money.
These soft serves were great, plus ambience and customer service; but portion sizes were really disappointing.

Gave us a cone despite the fact that we had asked for a cup and answered us in French despite the fact that we had chosen to communicate in English and that they understood us perfectly, in addition to giving us bad looks (I came with a tourist who does not speak French). I understand that we are in Quebec but we are barely 10 minutes from Ottawa and it makes no sense to act like a nationalist in an ice cream parlor. Completely rotten service.

Horrible experience, we went there as a tourist and wanted to order ice cream and we didnât wanted cone and they made our order wrong. The server were speaking only French and when I speak English they ignored me and answered back only in French and in a rude way very bad service and racist.

Usually love to go there, however our last visit was a big disappointment (Sunday October 20th in the afternoon). Staff seemed to be ânewâ, untrained and unsupervised. They were goofing around and laughing because they couldnât make the âkookyâ cones properly. The chocolate âdrizzlingâ bottles were all empty and chocolate had hardened so couldnât get out of the bottle⊠and staff were goofing around and laughing about it as if the job was just a joke to them. Ice cream was leaking under the chocolate, which never happens normally. Our cones all looked gross. The donut and the cinnamon bun on the the cones where dry and inedible. Big declineâŠ..
