Our waitress was super friendly and we asked a lot of questions about the menu but she was super patient and excited and also suggested possible adjustments that she can make with the orders. Wonderful place you have to visit if you’re in Ottawa/Gatineau. We showed up around 6 and luckily they had a table for us! We got the 5 item plate which was perfect as we got to try different things. The food was phenomenal and the dessert (Mille feuille) at the end was cherry on top.

My friends and I had dinner at Les vilains garçons after hearing rave reviews about it - and we were very happy with our experience! The restaurant’s ambiance is very warm and inviting. The staff was extremely attentive and enthusiastic and the food was amazing! Excellent quality at a great price point. We selected the option of 10 small plates for $80. Our waitress mentioned that the menu changes quite often, so I wanted to share some of our favourite plates from that night. The octopus taco was delicious! The goat cheese, the mushroom risotto, the tuna sashimi, the fior de latte frit, the beef tartare, and the menchi katsu de boeuf.If you’re feeling adventurous, I would highly recommend ordering the discovery menu and the chef will surprise you with his creativity. We especially loved the smoked duck and the salmon sashimi. For dessert - the cheesecake was divine.Thanks again to the staff at Les vilains garçons for creating such a wonderful dining experience and we’re looking forward to coming back!

And the food yum especially the scallops and smoked duck! Can’t wait for our next date night :)

The restaurant is small but nicely designed and has soft lighting. Our waiter was very nice and made his best efforts to speak to us in English. The restaurant has an option for both a variety of tapas, regular plates or a surprise 5 course chefs menu. For the tapas they had three options 3 for $27, 5 for $50, or 10 for $80. Between 3 people we decided to go for the 10 for $80. Each tapa we got was unique. Some of our favourites were the Brussel sprout salad, tofu, fish cakes, salmon with mango and the gnocchi.
