Several typical Indian dishes presented as a buffet. Homemade flavors with a perfect balance of spices. Everything is good! Great find for a small, friendly neighborhood restaurant.

Trying to order form Uber eats. Butter chicken is 20 plus another 4 cad for protein, are you putting gold in the butter chicken for that price, my guess is no.
Have eaten from here before. Pretty bad, but people in gatineau have no choice for India other than this which they take full advantage of.

I didn't know and I had a taste for Indian food so I found this restaurant on Über eats. The menu my plus, very big portion I ate my dish and I have some left for tomorrow plus, my boyfriend too, he has some left for tomorrow.
A little far for people who come to pick up their order from Gatineau but the food is good, like a home-cooked meal.

It was fine, I’ve absolutely had better! The naan came with one piece that looks like it’s from a grocery store. Other places give you two large obviously home made naans. There’s been multiple reviews about the naan and the owner hasn’t acknowledged it, so it probably is from a store. Probably won’t order again.

I love Indian food, and I wouldn't serve this slop to my dog. To make it worse they served me store bought "naan". The vindaloo is nothing more than tomato paste and pepper. The butter chicken is watered down tomato paste and cream, just gross. I threw out $70 worth of food.

The one star I gave is for the pakoras, they were actually decent.

About a month ago we ordered an aloo gobi dish, the cost was $19.95. It came with rice but we ordered extra which is 5.75. I asked how much the samosas were and was informed two large veggie samosas plus sauce is $6. The samosas are good and spicy but small. The pakoras were probably the best at 7.50 for 6 pieces plus sauce. Even though we got take out we tipped 15%. While picking up, a woman came in and got the $22 buffet takeout. I asked how much it would cost for kids and was informed kids 6 and under are free. Above that up to I think age 12 is half price. I made a mental note to make our next visit before my son turns 7 in 3 months. The website does not mention any buffet. He stated lunch buffets are only thursdays and fridays. Dinner buffets are thursdays, fridays, and Saturdays and has more food including goat. I think he said $33 or so for the dinner. We don't eat goat and the lunch buffet has plenty of food so we are more interested in that. Just had to make sure it was on a PD day when my son doesn't have school.

Today we came in for the buffet and took my 6 year old son. I had called to ask what time the buffet ends and was told 2 pm. I stated it would be take out as my husband has work and even though he works from home 2 days of the week. He asked me what we wanted to eat which I thought was a little odd but I stated the adults probably a bit of everything and the kid butter chicken and rice but unsure as he hasn't seen anything else. I stated we would be there by 1 pm. We got there at 12:57 pm. There were 2 guys leaving the store and just us. I stated again the takeout buffet is for 2 adults and the (free) child. My husband noticed my son got charged the half price which is for older children. When I mentioned to the guy (same guy as last time) he said they don't actually do takeout buffet. I mentioned the woman from the last visit got takeout buffet. He stated that he was only an employee. So we just didn't leave a tip. Also don't bother saying thank you, we each were polite and said thank you each time but each time they don't say anything. If we knew my son would have been charged the $11.50 we would have just filled up our own plates more. He only wanted the butter chicken, meatballs and rice. We would probably still be there finishing our 3rd or 4th full plates since buffets are "all you can eat".

Anyway these are the items at the buffet:

Butter chicken, chicken curry, beef kofta (meatballs), chicken tikka, chana masala, saag paneer, aloo gobi, rice. There were also eggrolls and samosas. 3 types of sauces.

I didn't care for any of the chicken dishes but I like the aloo gobi and beef meatballs/kofta.

If you are looking for watered down butter chicken that tastes like it was made from a can, rock hard lamb biryani that was cooked a few days ago, and rubbery naan that was most likely frozen and just thawed, then this place is for you!

I can only rate the food because I ordered it delivery. I was kind of homesick and it was only Indian option close by. The food is ok. It lacks the depth of flavour I love about Indian food. Just spice. It’s like eating at your least favourite Aunties place. The balance is just not there. The food Really needed salt.

Will agree with the reviews that said the naans seem store bought, and then thrown on a tava, which is fine, but 3.50 for one, is kind of robbery when other restaurants on the other side of the river make theirs from scratch for the same
Price.

They packaged the raita between hot dishes, so it was kind of bleh when it got here.

The mango drink tastes like mango pulp mixture, styler thick and syrupy. I won’t say it’s bad because the description is so vague. But it’s not a lassi, that’s for sure.

The owners seem to not take any criticism about the food well as per their responses to other reviews, so let me just say the food
Isn’t bad, it’s also not spectacular… it’s merely available in hull, but a trip across the river will give
you an infinite amount of better options for the same price.

Truly the worst Indian restaurant I have ever tasted in my life. The paneer was burnt. The naan bread comes from Maxi. The saag was to vomit. Rice dry and with no taste. Truly one of the worst experiences.

I would not say it is the best indian food and i have tried a lot. Naan bread feels more like commercial instead of homemade. Didn't enjoy the beef at all, it was beef meatballs?? Also, looks like they use very cheap beef (low quality ground beef). Butter chicken is really oily compare to what i have tasted in other indian restaurants.
Unfortunately, i do not recommand.

The butter chicken is not butter chicken at all ! It is just some tomatoe sauce. The quantity of rice is not enough and it has no taste at all.
The "tomatoe" sauce was not cooked properly and was made out of canned food for sure.
And I found some long hair in the nan Bread, disgusting ?

STAY AWAY FROM THAT RESTAURANT, IT IS A ROBBERY
