Came here two weeks ago, was served by this nice gentleman Serge, lovely service and lovely atmosphere. Now came back again tonight, same exact experience with Alex, just a bunch of friendly Bar and restaurant staff. Highly recommend this spot.

We went there for New Year's Eve dinner. Just like fine dining restaurants, they had a special menu for that which was 140 CAD per person. The cocktail was a good and reasonable price. Overall food was good except for dessert. The dessert was chocolate theme and too much. The lamp was the best one I ever had! We want to try regular menus like risotto next time!

Alex, our waiter was excellent! The food was amazing! We went for the oysters special on Wednesdays and they were delicious and fresh. We ordered the carpaccio and the lamb shank. We really enjoyed their private wine selection. A must try. This is a beautiful spot.

Very good spot, one of the must go places when you are around Ottawa. Make reservations! The place is small and I think the best seats are in the bar area on the first floor. The food is really good. Awesome escargot, the special duck breast was unreal. The only thing I would not recommend is the bouillabaisse, just get something else, trust me! Beef cheeks are great.

I am very disappointed, to say the least. It was all hype; the food did not live up to expectations. The beef cut was subpar— I spent a lot of time chewing, and the dessert tasted moldy. It’s likely not made in-house. Overall, the entire meal was terrible. Unfortunately, this seems to be a common issue with many “upscale restaurants” in Gatineau. Perhaps they were having an off night, but I certainly won't be going back. Too expensive to give them the benefit of the doubt. Instead, I would recommend the Rabbit Hole in Ottawa; while it’s a hefty bill, the food is delicious! Prices are justified!
