The food was very good and the waiters very nice. The atmosphere with the singer was very pleasant! However, after 10 p.m., when the singer leaves, the atmosphere is terrible. Little Christmas music not very loud and the owner looking at us while waiting for us to leave. Our request to put on some more upbeat music was refused. A Christmas party that could have lasted longer, but which ended quite quickly after the singer's departure.

The service was perfect, difficult for the server to satisfy us. And even uncomfortable. for not being able to give us better. Christmas party had to end early because the giant wanted to close the restaurant early when closing time was three o'clock. Very disappointing.

We had our wedding ceremony and reception here. They have this event space upstairs with private bar, bathrooms and balcony. The views of the river is so amazing. We were so glad to have picked this spot over anything else. The owner worked with us every step of the way, he helped make it into a really special moment in our lives. And he knew exactly what was needed. Everything was taken care of. Great bartenders and servers, amazing food selection, beautiful views of the sunset and the river from the two private balconies. Our guests all enjoyed themselves. Even the little ones, we were able to create a "kids corner" section and keep everyone well fed, happy, dancing into the evening.
I can't speak well enough about the owner Frank, he so clearly cares about what he does, is extremely professional, and worked with us to make this day as memorable as it should be.
Frank, we wish you all the best in your business endeavors. You have a customer for life in us, and we can't wait to see what you do next.
Vegetarian options: Just ask your server or the chef to help out, they will work with you to accommodate. They helped us with a few special requests.

We had an event planned here in the early fall. The event space that they rent out upstairs is phenomenal. They really catered everything for us, made the event so much easier than we imagined. They had great staff that were really attentive to our guests, fun bartender for everyone, and an amazing chef that helped put together an elegant meal for our event. They helped set everything up and took care of so much. The new owner is very attentive to this place and cares in it's success, and that shows.
On separate occasions we went there to eat diner, meet the staff, have a few drinks, so that we could check the place out before our event. Each time we went the food was fantastic (slow cooked ribs for me were fall off the bone delicious), we tested the drink menu and the knowledge of the beer selection, and the staff knew the menu, made some awesome cocktails and did great even on a busy Friday night. And how could I forget to mention that sitting on the riverside patio while the sun is going down in the summer with a cold beer makes this place feel like home.
I really look forward to returning here for years to come. Great memories.
We had an all dressed pizza, which was excellent. A special flavour in the sauce, which was yummy. Also, what struck me, is that a take out pizza is of course excellent, but Here, the pizza was Fresh out of the oven, and straight to the table. That makes a big difference, but I never realized this. Our server was tops and we felt well taken care of. ? Thanks

The view and "by the water" atmosphere is why you go. The service was good, but no English menus if that is a deal breaker. That said, the staff did their very best to accommodate! Our waiter did an excellent job. The young man deserves a raise. Let us know the place has new owners, kindly asked for reviews, great recommendation off the specials and knew his stuff. (If you see this and don't get a raise, send resumes out. If you're the owner, he's a keeper!)
Food.. ok, but reasonably price, considering the venu and market pricing. If you're really going out for the atmosphere, great place! If you want a culinary experience, this is what I've had in industrial kitchens. Couple of drinks and you won't care!

It was my first time going i had the Walleye .. fillet de Doré it was fantastic if I was to have anything negative to say about my food it would be that it could have had more rice but that's a me problem lol.. because I eat alot lol... I would recommend it 100% and the 3 other people with me also loved what they had....

Very good restaurant. Not many people but a beautiful terrace by the water. The meal is good value for money (low prices) and quite substantial.
The waitress was very friendly.
Finally, the food was also good (pulled pork poutine). It's not "haute cuisine" but is more than suitable for a good meal.
