I lived in Toronto for 31 years and spent 13 of them managing a 4-star restaurant in the heart of the financial and entertainment district—working my way up from doorman to manager. With that background, I can say Le Pelé Mêle felt genuinely welcoming, with a warm vibe and inviting ambiance. The menu is diverse and great for anyone who enjoys dining out.

On August 22, we were 40, our patio server was excellent—professional, personable, and perfectly in sync with our pace. Kudos to her! The only drawback was the lack of communication between the kitchen and staff when serving dishes—meals were handed out with Who Had What even though no one had moved seats. Prices are slightly above average, but that’s the economy today. While there are many fried options, my shrimp pasta was outstanding—absolutely delicious.

Absolutely unacceptable service & Zero Accountability!

I ordered food directly from Le Pêle Mêle’s (Agora) website for delivery, expecting to receive my meal from them — nowhere did it say they were outsourcing delivery through DoorDash. After multiple confirmations, my order never arrived.
I went to the restaurant in person hoping they would honor the order, only to be told that once food leaves their kitchen, it’s “no longer their responsibility.” Their “ Director of operations and customer service” echoed the same dismissive message and told me to ask DoorDash for a refund — even though I paid the restaurant directly, not DoorDash.
It’s now been over a month and a half, and my emails are being completely ignored. This isn’t just poor customer service — it’s a business model that avoids accountability and leaves the customer holding the bag.
I paid for a meal I never received, and the restaurant has made zero effort to resolve or even acknowledge the issue. If you care about your money or basic customer respect, I strongly suggest avoiding this place. This is theft!!!

Essai du brunch buffet, et bien ce n'est pas la folie. Cela ressemble d'avantage au déjeuner organisé par les matantes de l'association locale de motoneige plutôt qu'à un vrai buffet. Manque de variété, plusieurs produits non disponibles (sirop, nutella, lait) uniquement un déjeuner traditionnel (patate, bacon, oeuf), présentation très minimaliste, 2 bacs à nourritures qui se battent en duel, et désolé mais la poche IOGO de yogourt blanc dans un bol de glaçons, ce n'est pas professionnel . Pas de boissons autre que du café filtre. Ne vaut pas les 25$. On n'appelle pas ca un brunch mais un déjeuner. Même le Comfort Inn fait un meilleur déjeuner. Point positif : le service est aimable et le cadre du restaurant est agréable.

Ordered delivery from this restaurant, which never came.
No accountability or care on the situation, no manager on site, no options, no refund or even a credit. “Not our responsibility or our problem”. Keep that in mind before paying ahead of delivery from this place…

Nous sommes arrivés pour manger vers 20:45 et le niveau de bruit à l’intérieur de l’établissement était infernal les télévisions rediffusaient les matchs de hockey à tue-tête au point où ils ne nous étaient pas possible de parler entre nous. Nous avons mentionné notre désappointement à la personne qui nous a accueilli et nous avons quitté pour un endroit plus convenable.

Food tastes ok, ambiance is not pleasant, patio is dirty and full of cigarette butts all the time! I don’t know about you but i like to eat in a clean environment.

Last year, it seemed like business was slow and the public’s interest to visit this place was minimal.
However …. As of late, the bar is busy and lively. The atmosphere is great, the food is tasty and the service is impeccable. A personal shout out to Yann for being super friendly, funny and the foundation for all the staff at pele mele!
