The Lindocile company took care of the Christmas lunch at my son's school. They successfully delivered a delicious meal for around 700 children. The employees we spoke with were very friendly and the parent council was completely satisfied with the service received. THANKS!!

Our Christmas buffet was delivered on the agreed date and time. The food arrived hot and was good. We had enough food for everyone.

We hired Lindocile for our conference award dinner at the Museum of History. Geoffrey made great recommendations for the set up and flow, his staff were professional and the food was excellent. The décor was beautiful. Lindocile having a liquor license meant that was one more thing we didn't need to organize. It was an important evening for our group and Lindocile didn't disappoint.

Lindocile catered and decorated for my wedding in July 2023. First, the decorator Veronique is amazing and she deserves much more than in life than to be employed by this business. The problem is with the owner, Geoffroy. I’ve seen other reviews that described him as being “smug”, but that doesn’t even come close, in my opinion, to actually describing this person.

Allow me to explain using strictly factual information. Fact: During the planning process his prices changed and “administrative” fees increased on multiple occasions, after I had already paid the deposit and contracted for services. Fact: Geoffroy did not fulfil his end of the contract in numerous ways. The review I wrote stating all of the issues is too long for this review space so feel free to reach out to me for the entire review.

After dinner, I announced that the cake cutting would be in about 10 minutes and exited the space. When I returned less than 10 minutes later, the staff was already serving the wedding cake to my guests. It was the WRONG CAKE! We had had numerous conversations prior to the event about the importance of the wedding cake, and we had a cake cutting ceremony speech prepared talking about why we chose that particular cake. And there was his staff, serving a white cake with a disgusting white whipped cream icing, to all my guests, before the cake cutting ceremony. His staff effectively robbed us of having our cake cutting ceremony entirely. I sat down to take a bite of my piece of awful cake and immediately spit it back on to my plate because there was a GIANT HOUSEFLY baked into the cake!! I stepped outside and called him immediately, and he did not answer of course. In fact, from that moment forward he absolutely refused to acknowledge my existence.

I'm sorry you felt the need to write up a bunch of lies replying to this post almost a year later.
1. you were never at the event. There were no open doors and windows and the fly was literally baked into the cake. I have witnesses that literally saw the entire thing. I reported your business to the health and safety board afterwards.
2. I placed no heavy demands on any of your staff at any point. What services would I have possibly have even asked them for on the day of the wedding that were not part of the agreement? The staff themselves were wonderful. I tipped them all in cash as per our agreement and your supervisor was very apologetic over the wrong cake but I told her not to worry and that it wasn't her fault.
3. I have never been verbally abusive to any support staff (or anyone for that matter) in any situation I've ever been in throughout my entire life. I have a deep amount of respect for staff working in those positions and in no way was the cake mix up their fault, it was yours. Them serving the cake before the cake cutting was an error yes, but at no point did I even raise my voice to them about it as it was not their fault. In fact, I texted and tried to call you immediately that night, and instead of being a responsible business owner you chose to ignore me entirely and pretend I didn't exist until I was forced to sue you. Even then you didn't respond to the courts until you acknowledged your wrong doing by paying the judgment obtained against you.
***If anyone reading this review would like a copy of the claim filed against Lindocile that outlined everything in detail please let me know and I would be happy to share!***
In the mean time, if you would like to know how Geoffroy attacked and threatened me only after the original review was made, please take a look at the screenshots I just added and decide for yourself if this is the kind of person you would like to hire and work with.

I attempted to settle the matter by requesting a partial refund for the cake that I did not order. No response. I advised that his behaviour in failing to acknowledge or address any of the issues brought forward was incredibly unprofessional, and if he continued to ignore me I would seek compensation through the courts. No response. He did not respond to my official demand letter. He did not respond to the plaintiff’s claim served to him by a process server. He did not respond to the courts. After I successfully obtained a judgment against him and Lindocile, and served him with the papers, only at that time did he send me a message “contact me for payment”. When I reached him by phone the first thing he said was “I guess you did a good job and got a wedding for a good price”. No sir. It wasn’t about the cost of the wedding. All of his costs were already paid in full prior to the wedding. It was about the fact he did not fulfil his contract in several ways, and then unprofessionally refused to acknowledge or address the numerous egregious issues, and then forced me to go through the courts to obtain justice. He had assumed that I would just “go away” like the other clients he has disappointed in the past. Then, after sending me a partial payment of the judgment he failed to send the remaining amount the following day as promised. Each day that passed I reminded him that post-judgment interest was accumulating daily, until I finally stated that if he failed to make a payment or arrangement by the end of the week I would go back to the courts to enforce the order. His response? “Oh relax” with the sunglasses smiley face emoji, and then sent the final payment without giving me the e-transfer password to the e-transfer question “what are you?”, making me reach out yet again. As I stated before, be forewarned about considering doing business with this unbelievably unprofessional business owner. These are the facts. Check the other negative reviews out they – there are spot on!Adding: After he saw my initial review he texted me "I'll make your life miserable and make a hobby out of it". A huge thank you to the Indocile/Gatineauthèque team for making our wedding a perfect day!

Our wedding took place in October 2023 and we decided to trust L'Indocile given the turnkey packages they could offer and the quality/price ratio and we are not disappointed at all!

We had dinner (including the wedding cake), bar service, rental of tables, chairs and some decorations and everything was perfect and took a lot of stress away from us.

The food was very good and all the guests liked it.

The team was on time for installation the day before the wedding as well as the day itself.

The owner Geoffroy was even present for the installation to ensure that everything went well. We really appreciated their service as well as the numerous advice they gave us.

A big thank you also to Line, the supervisor who made sure everything went as we wanted on the installation day and the wedding day. She was very present, professional and attentive throughout the event.

All in all, we are extremely satisfied and we recommend the Indocile/Gatineauthèque without any problem for your wedding.
