It is a down to earth restaurant in a heritage home...beautiful. we had 3 small plates between two people and we were stuffed. The spinach pappardelle was rich, exotic and very filling. The maple & soya glazed pork was excellent and the sauce delicious. We had the confit monkfish last with black rice which was also an elevated dish. We were so impressed and the word small plates deterred us from coming here in the past as we are big eaters. Can't wait to dine here again. The menu changes every few months so we are looking forward to our next gastronomic experience. Prices are reasonable for such elevated dishes.

A notre arrivée nous constatons que j'ai réservé au comptoir par erreur. Nous demandons si possible d'avoir une table et on nous répond qu'aucune table n'est disponible. Quelques minutes plus tard un autre groupe arrive et le serveur leur indique qu'ils seront assis au rez-de-chaussée, la cliente qui semble connaître le serveur lui demande une table à l'étage et il lui répond qu'il va lui arranger ça... Bizarrement une table à dû se libérer. La place était très bruyante dû à la présence d'un gros groupe. La nourriture est excellente, mais les prix ont beaucoup augmenté dans les dernières années. Entre 30 a 40$ par assiette (2 par personnes), c'est beaucoup pour des assiettes à partager. Nous sommes des clients fidèles qui venaient quelques fois par année. Malheureusement cette expérience sera probablement notre dernière.

Nous avons pris le menu découverte 5 services, le 1er service wow, le 2ieme et le dessert correcte, le 3 ieme et le repas principal bien ordinaire (j'ai mangé moins que la moitié de mes assiettes), bien décevant... et en plus dépêchez vous à manger car vous avez un temps limité. Je terminais à peine mon dernier verre de mon menu mets-vin que l'on devait quitter.... Pas le temps pour un café ou thé....première et dernière visite à ce resto, je recommande le restaurant Muse du moulin de Wakefield pour une expérience menu découverte exceptionnelle!! Nous y sommes allés à quelques reprises et jamais nous n'avons été déçu!! Tant par la qualité de la nourriture qui surpasse de haut celle du antonyme que du service!!

Ambiance décontractée, excellent service, bons conseils de la part des employés et excellentes assiettes. Le menu découverte est très plaisant à essayé. Nous y retournerons certainement.
We chose Antonyme for our Valentine's Day dinner because it was a new-to-us experience and it didn't replace its regular menu with some sort of limited special Valentine's offering. We are so glad we did. We sat at the bar, right under a picture of the Seinfeld character Kramer, where we received good service - starting with the fact that they had actually read our Open Table comment that one of us couldn't eat garlic. Without prompting, our server indicated which of the dishes could be served garlic-free. We started with fresh, meaty oysters and then each of us had two dishes. All were wonderful, and most generous for "small plates." It appears to be a popular place full of regulars, but one doesn't have to be a regular to feel happy here.

Outstanding. A date with myself, while my wife was away and it was delightful. The food, the service and the atmosphere was perfect. I was only suppose to get a gift certificate. The wife was quite jealous lollll. Looking forward to my next visit.
