We came to this lovely place after visiting the History Museum. The food we ordered was really delicious and flavorsome. Particularly the Tom Kha Kai soup and the Pa naeng. We love thai food, and if this place wasn't far from home, it would be our new favorite place.

I'm a long-time customer of Maison Samorn and have a lot of good things to say about it. My first recommendation would be to arrive hungry and take the 'all-you-can-eat' option ($45/person as of April 2024) whereas dishes (for two) are $25 on average. The all-you-can-eat is not a buffet. The dishes are made as you order and fresh off the grill each time. Fav dishes include the Panang (red curry - peanut based), green curry, yellow curry (less sweet with chicken and potato), the vegetarian egg plant dish and 100 per cent - the pad thai. Mrs. Samorn cooks every dish with care and the recipes and flavours have been consistent for my nearly 20 years of visiting the restaurant. If you enjoy the experience and it's not too busy, take the time to compliment the chef directly. She is a wonderful woman who cares for nothing as much as the quality of her food and your satisfaction with the experience. I will never take for granted how much I enjoy the food each time and dread the day where I am unable to enjoy my favourite Thai food of all-time. Thank you Mrs. Samorn!

The food was great! Normally when you have an All You Can Eat option, the food can be a little cheaper in quality in order to be prepared quickly. But at Samorn, every dish tasted just as if you would order it à la carte. The AYCE option is now 45$ and doesn't come with desserts, which can seem expensive, but it is worth it in my opinion for the great variety.Everything was perfect except maybe the strength of the green curry, the sweetness of the mango salad and the sourness of the tom yum (but bear in mind they're all still tasty and these are the only little flaws we found in 14 dishes including appetizers). Service was also funny and helpful. I would highly recommend!

Little jewel of the old hull. Eat authentic fresh and especially hot. Made on request when ordering. Clean restaurant with a little special character. A true delight.I suggest you stop by and taste their authentic food; they are closed on Monday and Tuesday and can accommodate large groups on request.

Well garded little secret. For having visited Thailand, this is pretty close to the real deal. Huge variety of dishes, fair price and a nice humble experience.
