Rolled in at 3pm to a completely empty restaurant.
We were warmly greeted and told we had pick of the place to sit down.
Sadly the chair are literally planks of wood covered with worn fabric.
Definitely need to refurbish the chairs.
Order wings, they taste like they came from a freezer bag and died in the fryer due to overcooking.
Served plain with off brand sauce which come on the side.
Poutine was sadly again from frozen fries and the gravyblacked flavor but the cheese curd generous.
My dining companion enjoyed his burger and both our coleslaw.
Beautiful restaurant, packed full on a Saturday morning before Father's day.
No wait for seating and exceptional service.
Our food arrived promply.
Generous portion, perfectly cooked eggs and tasty meats.
Highly recommended!
I was in the Buckingham area and I had heard about Resto O' Max! I stop to enjoy the famous Brunch plate, but unfortunately we arrived too late and they were serving the lunch menu... It doesn't matter because the kind lady who explained to me the specials of the day also confirmed to me that I could still order a classic lunch and ask for extra meat and an orange juice and it would be quite similar!
The place is really welcoming, with its log style and how the people there all seem to know each other.
For the most part it was good but the potatoes were a little bland and fried, I had the impression of Cavendish in a bag, meh.
The rest was really good, it passes the test, especially the prices; really affordable!
Next time I'll stop by earlier to try their REAL lunch selection or an O'Max lunch special!
We earned ourselves a 6.5 today.
There’s room for improvement, that’s for sure!
THANKS!

I have been here for breakfast, fast service and very friendly. Ordered the Philly cheese steak eggs benedict with mushrooms. Unfortunately it was very tasteless, the steak part of it didn't feel like steak. Plain potatoes that were cooked in oil. A bit disappointed for my breakfast

The service was very bad. I do not recommend.
Our waitress was rude and unpleasant. We waited an hour just to be able to order a drink and when mentionned to her, she went as far as blaming us for having a conversation while waiting for her... We would have bought A LOT more drinks, food and desserts, but at that point, we were just really uncomfortable and wanted to get out of there ASAP. So we went to spend our money somewhere else.
