Terrible service. Extremely slow. Not very friendly. The food was awful and way overpriced…. and I haven’t stopped shitting snd puking for the last 4 hours !!!! Took us 45 mins to get our drinks even longer for food when we finally got it the service accidentally dumped a salad on the table which is fine but she just ran away instead of saying sorry or that she would replace it just took off to get a cloth.. we had to ask her for a new one. I tipped but I didn’t feel like they deserved it all. Never coming or staying here again especially if I got food poisoning if you make reservations online make sure to call them to let them know you booked I don’t think they pay close attention to reservations booked online

Nous avons pris le service à la chambre et nos repas furent délicieux. Nous étions en famille et les repas enfants étaient tout autant impressionnant.
La bavette était la cuisson demandée, tendre et excellente au goût.
Burger des bois était divin.
La poutine était impressionnante au goût.
Le service était rapide et nous avons été biens servis.
Nous recommandons à 110% , une belle découverte 👏

They brought out the drinks, the soup and main course in such a timely fashion! The staff was kind and attentive.

Was having dinner on new year eve and we witness the supervisor server, approach a young couple which where on there way out after dinner, ask if there was a problem when the young men said no why, she said he had only left 10% tips and the norms are 18 and more?…the young couple where in sock n very embarrassed cause she stop them right in the middle of the floor in between tables they where right beside my husband and I, we could here everything….we where embarrassed for them….we spoke to the young couple after in the hallway and start talking about the incident and as they told her “ they are young, still at the university and had a tight budget” but wanted to go out and enjoy the new year eve together? She was rude and gave them bad eyes every time they saw her afterwards in the evening, cause there was a dancing evening after dinner. What’s this a norm rules on tips….we should start doing like some other country where there’s no tip, increase the waiter/server wages and stop this tip think, it would solve lots of embarrassing and frustration from all parties…. We are sorry for the young couple and that was not very professional from a supervisor….

I feel obliged to point out that despite the food being excellent, I am disappointed with my visit. Accidents can happen and that's actually what happened. The young lady serves us glasses of water and drops two glasses of water on me and my partner. Very unpleasant to eat soaked. The young lady apologized and that's okay. But as an apology, the restaurant could have shown a gesture of courtesy by compensating us somewhat...like bringing an appetizer courtesy of the restaurant.

As I regularly go to Gatineau, I choose to stay at the V hotel and have dinner at the Rumeur restaurant. The quality of the food is exceptional, and the service is simply impeccable. Although I haven't explored the entire menu yet, I discovered enough to recommend everything without hesitation. Certainly, the prices are a little high, but they are amply justified by the quality of the dishes and the overall experience.
