What a great experience and great food! We visited this place in the St. Laurent Shopping Centre on 31 Jan 2024, their opening day. The people were super nice. We had the Coxinha (Brazilian Chicken Bites) - pronounced Koh-Sheen-Yah, the Pão de queijo (Brazilian Cheese Bread), the Bossa Nova Smoothie (açaí, banana, and almond milk), and the "Authentic" Brazilian coffee (one americano and one cappuccino). Everything was awesome. Good prices as well. The Pão de queijo was so good, we bought three frozen take-away pouches to share the goodness at home with others. We look forward to going to their Gatineau location soon.Kid-friendliness: Our 2-year-old grandson loved the smoothie, chicken bites, and cheese bread. The owner was very pleasant with the boy.

Today was our first experience at Rio Acaï. We were warmly received by Julianne. As for the food, I highly recommend trying the tapioca pancakes. It’s super delicious and crunchy! What can we say about their acai, super refreshing and sweet. I also advise you to add condensed milk to your drink! In short, I advise you to go and taste their succulent Brazilian dishes! Bon appetit !
Love love love love this place! Best açai! It reminds me of my first açai bowl in Melbourne, Australia. Despite of living in Ottawa West, I still make time to come here almost every week! I wish they have an açai bowl. I love their unlimited topping options! And most importantly it’s dog friendly place ? ?I tried their cheese balls and crepe for the first time, it was amazing!
Such a nice place for all of those who want to try some brasillian flavors and for all the brazillian people missing home like myself. Amazing!

We stopped into this adorable place as it was the only thing open at 8:00 P.M. on a Sunday. Just that it itself is a major bonus. I loved the selection of Brazilian products, like coffee and mate. I also loved the selection of Havaianas, too. The lattes we ordered were very well-made and served quickly. We will be back!

I mean, great gluten free place that serves your not so average food that's on top of it, delicious. Definitely worth the trip!
First time going there and definitely not the last! My partner and I tried the tapioca crepes, the acai boll and the Brazilian cheese bread and everything was super tasty!! There's plenty of gluten-free options which is awesome and the staff was so friendly!
