My first and last interaction with this restaurant. I called and was told to arrive within 30 minutes. I drove 15 minutes from Ottawa only to be impolitely told at 8:15pm that the kitchen is closed, but the door sign and website says the restaurant is opened until 10:30pm. This was very inconvenient for my family and just didn’t make sense to us.

Always a great experience at Saigon Thai. Everything is made fresh, made to order which is why it takes a little more time than other places. I guarantee it's worth the wait! I highly recommend the pad thai, the vermicelli, and the spring rolls! ✨️

The food was delicious however we waited over an hour for our mains which is understandable considering it was very busy but as soon as our food came out, everyone else's did as well even though we were there at least 30 minutes before. We were later informed the kitchen didn't open until 5pm even though they told us they were open at 4:30, took our orders and served our appetizers. The restaurant is beautiful the service was great, the owners are the only chefs & the food was amazing.

Some of the dishes looked and tasted great. The pad thai was with Angel hair noodles and was soupy, with very little egg. Not how I like my pad thai. It takes a long time to cook however the dishes that were good really were fresh and quality. Made a reservation for eight people and they ended up splitting us. They said they had phoned the person who made the reservation but that wasn't true. Also a quality restaurant serves the meals at the same time. Tonight they were 5 minutes apart at the same table

I normally have a good experience when I go to Saigon Thai, but yesterday we were rushed to leave at 8:30 p.m. with 10 minutes' notice from the employee in a rather curt tone, when the poster actually states that the restaurant closes at 10 p.m. In addition, the dish we ordered, which should have contained a nest of crispy noodles, contained almost none. I will go back, hoping that everything is restored.
