Souvlaki Bar - Promenades Gatineau

I got a pork pita souvlaki today for lunch and the meat was pink it tasted funny the first bite then I spit it out to realize it wasn’t even cooked it’s a shame I come to this place often and usually it’s so good I also notice when the worker was grilling the pork kabob it only took seconds to heat it up it’s hard to see behind the counter so I figured it was already cooked but no did not eat this and threw it away not worth getting sick over raw pork

Ordered the chicken pita plate. The chicken was tender. Just not enough tzaziki sauce inside the sandwich. The rest was okay.

Prices at this place are pretty regular to what you would expect. Quality of the food is okay, maybe a 3.5 star. **Buyer, beware, this is a Greek bar that will charge you $3 extra just for the feta cheese, that you normally get in your Greek salad already. Very disappointed at that aspect!! Good otherwise.

It's 11:20 and the staff says theyre not open yet. The owner is pay salary, rent, bills and they're not open at the right time, the losing customers.

My experience at the restaurant was extremely disappointing. I was the victim of verbal and gestural aggression from the manager.
When I got to the register, I ordered a chicken souvlaki (sandwich). The person in charge of making my sandwich turned his back on me, discreetly opened another box and took out a sandwich that I assumed was from a later order, then put it in my box. Shocked by this approach, I asked her why she had done this and why she had not asked me what vegetables and sauces I wanted. To my surprise, she threw the box away, took another loaf of bread and asked me, “What vegetables do you want?” I then expressed my dissatisfaction to him by pointing out his disrespectful behavior. In response, she asked the cashier for a refund and gave me the finger. What shocked me the most was finding out that this person is the restaurant manager. I am really disappointed with this experience and will not return there again. It's all the more a shame because the old team was exceptional.
