Exceptional Experience with the Beef Bibimbap
I recently visited this restaurant and was completely impressed by their beef bibimbap. The presentation was simply spectacular: each ingredient was carefully cut and cooked to perfection, creating a visually captivating dish that anticipated the gastronomic experience to come.
The rice had the ideal texture —neither too dry nor too moist— demonstrating the attention to detail in preparation. What surprised me most was tasting each component separately before mixing everything together.
Each ingredient maintained its freshness and distinctive flavor: the crisp vegetables, the tender and well seasoned meat, all in perfect individual harmony.
Once I added the sauce and mixed all the ingredients, the result was a perfectly balanced symphony of flavors. It’s no exaggeration to say that every bite was an authentic explosion of flavors that complemented each other masterfully.
Beyond the exceptional food, the service was equally remarkable. The staff and owners were genuinely friendly and attentive, creating a welcoming atmosphere that enhanced the entire experience. Furthermore, considering the exceptional quality of both the food and service, the prices are very reasonable.

A Hidden Gem!
Sushi Haru Haru is hands down one of the best dining experiences we’ve ever had. The food was absolutely incredible, every bite packed with flavor, freshness, and heart. The Korean dishes were the most delicious I’ve ever tasted, and the sushi? To. Die. For. You can truly taste the love and craftsmanship in every roll.
What makes this place even more special is that it’s a warm, family-run restaurant. Su, the chef and the heart of the kitchen (and also the mom!), made us feel so welcome. It’s clear she pours her soul into every dish. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, and the hospitality is unmatched.

I tried an assorted platter — the sushi and maki were excellent. The salmon was fresh, with a beautiful color and perfect texture — nothing to complain about. The manager was a bit stiff, but the rest of the staff, both in the dining area and behind the counter, were very friendly. Verdict: I highly recommend it!

This is the BEST sushi restaurant that I *don't* want you to know about! Why don't I want you to hear about it? Because as the hidden gem it is, I selfishly don't want to share it with you dear internet reader!
After reading about it on the r/Gatineau subreddit, I knew I had to come try it. My wife and I had their Korean fried chicken and three of their rolls. All were very well plated and delicious. Wait time was as expected for a small, family-run business, but well worth it!
