I love Thai food, and Thai Express is usually my go-to when a craving hits. I’ve tried almost all the locations in Gatineau, and as we all know, every place cooks a little differently. There are two Thai Express restaurants near me in Plateau, but I wasn’t too impressed with them.

Then I tried this location — and wow, it was so tasty! It’s about a 25-minute drive from my home, but I’m more than willing to make the trip because the food is that good.

My only complaint is the limited hours: it closes at 4 p.m. Monday to Friday and is closed on weekends (since it’s inside a government building).

Highly recommend!

Paid $18 for a "Tom yum soup" that consisted mostly of noodles in a flavourless broth that was neither hot nor sour with 4 shrimps and 3 tomato quarters. Not worth it! Won't be coming back. If looking to eat at Place du Centre, you can get better value for your dollar and more flavour at Adonis Express or Bar Burrito.

I ordered online. An item was missing from the order. Also, I mentioned not spicy and the dish was extremely spicy, I couldn't eat it. Damage!

Good service, food okay but a bit expensive considering the ratio quality/price.Still recommended as this food court choices are very limited.

Never seen such incompetence. I ask for chicken noodles and pineapple cake.Cook serves me my bowl. I confirm before grabbing it: is that the chicken noodle bowl? -yes ma’am. -greatLo and behold, i step out and open the bowl, start eating, only to notice its shrimp, not chicken. How can 2 people confuse chicken with shrimp.Worse, i get home and open my cake box, and realize they gave me the chocolate and banana cake!!! Another mistake. That cake is gross, banana doesn’t combine with chocolate. They’re negligent and careless.Wasted 23$.

Went for a group lunch from work in the area. Everyone had an issue with the food. You he most common issue is that hat he meat (chicken) was tough or not cooked enough. We’ll definitely go somewhere else the next time.

Excellent resto pour dépanner quand on a une petite fringale ou envie d'un bon repas de type asiatique. Nourriture excellente et personnel très compétent.

Oily and the chicken was rubbery and had no flavour, well except the taste of oil! Only had a few bites and could not finish the rest.
