Ordered 3 combo plate and 2 extra egg rolls
Which would mean we would get five egg rolls in total however they only gave us two eggrolls in total so right then in there we were already scammed out of our money. They have cheap combination plates about $15.72 after tax the chicken bowls were definitely still I’ve never felt the batter taste like that before the spare rooms were super tiny, but that was fine and doable and the rice was good. The best part is the water I would say if you’re looking for a cheap late night eat that’s close by then This is sufficient however, I would not go out of my way to eat here.
We came in at night and they have the door held open and there was literally bugs everywhere, mosquitoes, and all types of flying bugs all on their like glass inside which makes you really reluctant to eat the food. The lady kept trying to give us a menu however, after seeing the bugs, we decided we wouldn’t be ordering from there again. Nothing against the people they’re very nice, but I’m just more used to a bit of a higher standard than this
The people inside were very nice however Nice doesn’t always make the best food

Don’t believe the negative reviews. The food was really good. I did order at 4:30pm so maybe the time of day does make a difference. The portion size was really good for the price. I have attached the menu for reference since their website is out of date for prices

Takeout only. Tasty and affordable.
You have to go there when it's time to eat otherwise, you will be served old food. I got my Chinese food from there for years (almost 10) and the only time I was disappointed was when I ordered food at 3:30 / 4pm. Everything tastes great, everything is hot and the portions are HUGE.
I ordered a portion of fried beef rice and the portion was absolutely unacceptable in its size. I used to buy from here years ago and got 2-3x more food. For 8$ I wouldn't recommend unless you're desperate.

AVARIER FOOD/ HE SELLS FOOD THAT HAS ALREADY TURNED AND WITH THE SMELL COMING OUT OF THIS DISH, YOU ARE NOT GOING TO TELL ME THEY DID NOT KNOW
BE CAREFUL.
Bad food, I gave this restaurant several chances during the 5 years I spent in Aylmer. But it’s total disappointment every time.
And I would like to point out that I always eat fried rice, which is my favorite.
So if it's not the fact that there isn't enough meat/shrimp, the rice is tiny.
But this time yes, the whole dish was spoiled, the smell that came out of it was unbearable
But how can we serve this to people?
I could have gotten sick.
Please be careful

Nope, not sure why this place exists. Nothing we ordered was good. $110 later, they gave us 1!!! SOY sauce packet. All their sauces are chunky and cold. General Tao is literally soy sauce and their red sauce but tastes like nothing. Won't be ordering here again.

The service was excellent, it wasn’t a long wait and the owners were very kind. The food was nice and hot, our favourites were the chicken balls, rice, and the sweet and sour pork. Would definitely eat here again

Giving one star because the food was hot. Ordered from here years ago and was disappointed. Thought I would give them another try. Big mistake... I ordered two #4 combination plates, an order of General Tao and 4 eggrolls. The chicken balls were hard and dry, I only ate one. Same with the eggrolls it was like they're were old and double fried and the sauce was like apricot baby food. The chicken guy ding had some old carrots (removed them) in it and had a slight taste of fish/shrimp in it, and I don't eat seafood. The rice was old and had no taste. The General Tao just tasted like watered down soy sauce and it too was hard like it had been heated up multiple times and there seemed to be some dark meat in it too. The picture shows how much General Tao was left and we were two. That's my plate of what I had left. It looks good but trust me it's not! It was also late and we hadn't had anything to eat. I ordered just before closing too, if they would have still been open I would have brought the food right back. I'm sorry but you can get better chinese food in the frozen section at the grocery store. I should have ordered from Aylmer BBQ, sure it costs a little more but at least it's good. Never again will I order from here.

So good!! I don't know how people say it lacked flavour, it was very flavorful! The egg rolls are amazing!!! The general tao and crispy beef were great! The wonton soup was excellent too as was the bacon fried rice. To all the negative reviewers, your posts are unkind. This is a family owned restaurant with people who work hard. I will be back! Way better than the Chinese food in Hull!

Ordered after being told it was good and yet we found that it was very disappointing. The general Tao had no taste, the chicken balls were so hard actually had a hard time breaking them even to eat, the chicken fried rice was definitely couple days old as it was dry and gross. Overall experience was terrible and definitely will not be ordering from them again nor recommending them to anyone in the future.
