This place is a hidden gem. We did not expect to like it that much! The best part is anything that they make themselves, such as the smoked meats and the rhubarb jam that the owner made with the rhubarb growing outside of the restaurant! The cheeseburger Lewis with their own smoked brisket patty and smoked bacon was out of this world! It was among the best burgers I’ve ever had! Only critic is the texture of the potatoes that could’ve been better, but that burger was so mindblowingly...
The best breakfast of our road trip—crispy waffles 🧇 topped with smoky salmon, a perfect pairing. On a chilly, rainy morning, steaming lattes ☕🍵 warmed us inside and out. 😉
Warm places, atmosphere that lends itself to discovery accompanied by an owner/cook/passionate/Epicurean who suggests a cuisine that goes far beyond traditional dishes, all in a completely “homemade” menu highlighting a maximum of products with local flavor prepared directly on site. What a tasty gourmet pleasure to taste for the first time... several times!
