We ordered five dishes and four of them were up to the Main’s normal high standard. Of particular note was the dish of lamb chops with the delicious zucchini feta salad. The only dish we didn’t like was a “special” surf and turf consisting of pulled beef over a cod and sweet potato cake, topped with foie gras. Sounded great but to my taste it didn’t work. got to say the food was great,the service was also ok but having said that a couple of servings were cold the waitresses attitude….had no interaction what so ever never smiled. She never went the extra mile and even had the nerf of charging a automatic 18% tip without even telling us. That’s probably the reason she doesn’t smile or go th3 extra mile.
This Tapas restaurant is worth crossing the bridge for, if you don't already live off island. Creative dishes served up in a lovely ambiance, with attentive service. Don't forget to bring along your own wine and make reservations so you're not disappointed - the locals love this place too, so it's usually booked up!
