Wow! Une expérience digne des plus grands restaurants de Montréal! Une belle surprise pour nous. Tout dans le menu était appétissant. Et tout ce que nous avons finalement commandé après de très longues minutes de réflexion était absolument délicieux! Et que dire de l’ambiance et du service impeccable. Je ne peux que recommander hautement ce restaurant et j’ai bien hâte d’y retourner!
Used to love this restaurant. Recent visit was disappointing. Food was OK but lacked innovation and finesse. Tempura prawns were not Tempura but battered. Prawn crackers with the tuna tartare replaced by chewy pieces of pita bread! The blackened cod was tasty and well cooked while the poutine came with unmelted curds. Service was OK and good, if a little loud, music.
Absolutely delicious, great discovery. I had the oysters, they were very fresh and la mignonette was yummy. Ménage à trois was very refreshing… but the main meal !… Codfish a la plancha with a dill cream sauce. But that SAUCE, had a crunch…. Nice subtle Surprise… it was some perfectly fried garlic. Taverna Raw Bar & Plancha is a Hudson gem, serving up a range of delicious dishes. The seafood platter for two is a standout, and the fresh oysters are also a highlight. The three Tartares—tuna, salmon, and beef—are tasty. The atmosphere is inviting and unique, with a beautiful setting and a comfortable shaded terrace. Friendly and attentive staff add to the pleasant dining experience. The varied menu includes tasty gluten-free options and spectacular, fresh food. The cocktails are incredible and the service is amazing. It’s a charming, fun spot for both casual and elegant dining with convenient on-site parking. A true West Island gem worth every penny.
