I recently had the pleasure of dining at your restaurant and was truly impressed with the smoked meat—everything from the texture to the flavor and even the fries were spot on. It was one of the best smoked meat experiences I’ve had in Laval, and my wife, who’s not typically a fan of smoked meat, was even surprised by how much she enjoyed it. Needless to say, we left with a great first impression and were excited to return!
For my birthday, we decided to get the family-sized smoked meat platter for takeout, hoping to enjoy the same quality at home. While the flavor was still excellent, we were a bit disappointed with the overall experience. The bread was dry, and unfortunately, the smoked meat itself lacked the same tenderness and juiciness we had initially experienced in the restaurant. It wasn’t quite the same as our first visit, and the difference was noticeable.
I understand that takeout can sometimes differ from dining in, but I thought it was worth mentioning since our first experience was so memorable. I’d still love to come back, but I hope this can be looked into for future takeout orders.
