We ordered combos but the food was so generous , we could not finish it,. WE had 4 boxes of left overs to take home. Food was aromatic and not spicy, Staff we lovely. Over all 5 Star dining and service. I already have a reservation to go back later this month. For future visitors to the restaurant try the Food Combos. Absolutely divine.. !!! Bon appetite a tous.”

“I generally don’t like to complain, and in fact, this is the first bad restaurant review I have ever written. However, my experience with the management at La Milsa Laval was so predatory that I feel I have no choice but to warn others. We had a large booking of 23 people and paid a $500 deposit in advance. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, only 12 people were able to make it. While I understand that a change in group size can be an inconvenience, the restaurant’s response was completely unacceptable: They "stole" our $500 deposit and refused to credit a single cent of it toward our final bill. Essentially, we paid for our full meal on top of losing the $500, meaning the restaurant pocketed a massive amount of money for services and food they never provided. The Legal Issue To the management: You should be aware of Quebec’s Consumer Protection laws regarding "No-Show" fees and deposits. In Quebec, it is generally considered illegal for a restaurant to charge a "no-show" fee or withhold a deposit unless a specific contract was signed that meets very strict criteria—and even then, the amount must represent actual damages, not a flat-rate penalty. Taking $500 for 11 missing people while 12 others are still sitting there paying full price is a blatant violation of consumer rights. We were looking forward to a great night, but instead, we left feeling cheated. I strongly recommend avoiding this location for large groups unless you want to risk losing hundreds of dollars. We will befiling a formal complaint with the Office de la protection du consommateur (OPC). Quebec”

I ordered the grilled chicken pho with a spring roll, and the flavor was extraordinary. The grilled chicken was delicious, the broth was rich and comforting, and the spring roll was the perfect addition to the meal. Everything tasted fresh, satisfying, and prepared with care.
Our order was ready very quickly, and before we knew it, we were enjoying a fantastic bowl of pho.

The biggest disappointment was the drinks. Unfortunately, none of the cocktails we ordered at the table were really enjoyed. For example, the Aperol spritz tasted much more like Prosecco than Aperol , the margarita & campari spritz tasted watered down , so it didn’t really taste like what we expected. We didn’t feel comfortable sending the drinks back, so we still drank them, but honestly, the alcohol was probably the weakest part of the experience.
We were also celebrating my dad’s birthday, and I was a little disappointed that there wasn’t any acknowledgment of it. I noticed other tables receiving birthday cakes with sparklers, so we were surprised that nothing was offered or mentioned for our table”

Faire enough price as they have a lunch menu that spans between 11h and 15h everyday, even during the weekend. I had the Pita Doner plate, with greek potatoes, rice and greek salad, it was as great as i remebered it. 👍 next time i'll take their fried calamaris, I recall they were awesome.”

Nous attendons 6 minutes avant de manger pour voir si elle va venir nous demandez si tout est correct pour pouvoir lui en faire part mais elle ne ce présente pas et est introuvable, donc ma fille mange ses oeufs brouillés froids... Presque 30 minutes plus tard, elle nous demande si nous allons prendre des boites pour emporter ce que nous n'avons pas manger, je lui fait part que nous allons prendre une seule boite puisque je n'ai pas aimer mon assiette de grilled cheese (je n'ai même pas mangé la moitié de la moitié), elle le ramasse et part. Elle amène la boîte pour emporter et la facture, n'offre rien pour compenser et ne dit absolument rien. J'attends plusieurs minutes pour payer la facture, je demande même à un autre serveur si c'est possible de payer la facture avec lui et il me répond que non que ça sera avec ma serveuse donc j'attends... Au moment de payer, je ne laisse pas de pourboire parce que selon moi ce dernier va avec le service reçu, dans ce cas presque aucun et celui donné comporte des erreurs. Ella n'a pas vu que j'étais entrain de passer devant le poste d'accueil pour partir et je l'entends dire à d'autres serveurs/ses que je n'ai pas laissé de pourboire, une serveuse lui à même dit "peut-être sur la table". Well Jennifer, ton service aux tables et ton service à la clientèle n'était aucunement à la hauteur d'un pourboire.”

“I generally don’t like to complain, and in fact, this is the first bad restaurant review I have ever written. However, my experience with the management at La Milsa Laval was so predatory that I feel I have no choice but to warn others. We had a large booking of 23 people and paid a $500 deposit in advance. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, only 12 people were able to make it. While I understand that a change in group size can be an inconvenience, the restaurant’s response was completely unacceptable: They "stole" our $500 deposit and refused to credit a single cent of it toward our final bill. Essentially, we paid for our full meal on top of losing the $500, meaning the restaurant pocketed a massive amount of money for services and food they never provided. The Legal Issue To the management: You should be aware of Quebec’s Consumer Protection laws regarding "No-Show" fees and deposits. In Quebec, it is generally considered illegal for a restaurant to charge a "no-show" fee or withhold a deposit unless a specific contract was signed that meets very strict criteria—and even then, the amount must represent actual damages, not a flat-rate penalty. Taking $500 for 11 missing people while 12 others are still sitting there paying full price is a blatant violation of consumer rights. We were looking forward to a great night, but instead, we left feeling cheated. I strongly recommend avoiding this location for large groups unless you want to risk losing hundreds of dollars. We will befiling a formal complaint with the Office de la protection du consommateur (OPC). Quebec”
