My buddy said let's do smoked meat and I haven't done smoked meat for ages. “I have been eating at Dic Ann's since this location opened in 1981. There are several locations now but I haven't been to this particular restaurant in years. Nothing has changed since 1981 except for the prices. It's literally like walking back into the 80's. That said, I am a big fan of Dic Ann's. My only complaint is that they do not put enough of their special sauce that made them famous on the poutine. All other locations that I have visited do put a more generous amount of sauce. The food is served quick, hot and fresh. It's a little bit pricey but when you have a craving for their sauce the price will not make a difference.“

“Dic Ann's, the smallest burger I've seen, but God are they good. I think the first time I've come here (not exactly this one but another at this chain) I was maybe 10 years old. My father took me there while he was waiting for his car to be cleaned at a car wash nearby. I never wanted McDonald again after! Dic is famous for there small burger and "spicy" sauce. The sauce is not really spicy, it contains onion so it has a spicy taste but it's not like it's full of cayenne pepper or anything. Over the year, I would say the last 10 year, they added stuff on the menu, but in truth, it's more convenience they added. Why? The original menu was burger, double burger, fries, hotdog, poutine, extra cheese, extra sauce. Now, you have many burger with the extra nulding like quadro that is a cheeseburger double meaning 2 patty and 2 slice of cheese. But they did add new stuff like chicken burger, chicken strip and many other stuff. But, I always take the same thing, quadro extra sauce and fries (sometime a poutine). It is very good. Most of dic location are closed on Monday and Tuesday, be sure to check the schedule before heading over there during the week.“

“Always a good Harvey's burger. The evening shift manager is solid and it's how to manage her staff which is not always easy to manage given the youth (that's normal, I don't blame them). The restaurant does quite well during rush periods and I have no complaints about the quality of the food. It's always good and it's a treat. If I had to give constructive criticism. The onion rings must have good oil, otherwise it quickly becomes bitter and not pleasant.“
