“I generally don’t like to complain, and in fact, this is the first bad restaurant review I have ever written. However, my experience with the management at La Milsa Laval was so predatory that I feel I have no choice but to warn others. ​We had a large booking of 23 people and paid a $500 deposit in advance. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, only 12 people were able to make it. While I understand that a change in group size can be an inconvenience, the restaurant’s response was completely unacceptable: They "stole" our $500 deposit and refused to credit a single cent of it toward our final bill. ​Essentially, we paid for our full meal on top of losing the $500, meaning the restaurant pocketed a massive amount of money for services and food they never provided. ​The Legal Issue ​To the management: You should be aware of Quebec’s Consumer Protection laws regarding "No-Show" fees and deposits. In Quebec, it is generally considered illegal for a restaurant to charge a "no-show" fee or withhold a deposit unless a specific contract was signed that meets very strict criteria—and even then, the amount must represent actual damages, not a flat-rate penalty. Taking $500 for 11 missing people while 12 others are still sitting there paying full price is a blatant violation of consumer rights. ​We were looking forward to a great night, but instead, we left feeling cheated. I strongly recommend avoiding this location for large groups unless you want to risk losing hundreds of dollars. We will befiling a formal complaint with the Office de la protection du consommateur (OPC). Quebec“

I have been to many restaurants in my life and this particular one is ONE OF THE FEW that has given me such “SEXINISM” experience! I felt that tremendous love and passion coming out from the cashier and those feelings are then carried upon the gentleman who made me taste his meat thru a sample. THE TASTE OF SEXINESS AND PASSION DRIPPING OFF FROM THE SWEAT OF THOSE TWO HARDWORKING CHEFS ! YUMMY TUMMY UOMIIIEE 😋!“

“I’ve always been a fan of Scores and enjoyed their generous and delicious food at several of their locations. In my opinion the one the offers the absolute BEST service by far is Scores Chomedey (corner St-Martin). Their hostess, all their servers and even the owner always all make me feel so welcome! Whether it’s a casual lunch or dinner or when I reserved their party room for my family events the food and service was IMPECCABLE !!

Sadly we don’t find this level of experience often enough these days, and I wanted to take the time to express my appreciation for my amazing experience cheers to a perfect “score” for Scores Chomedey!

Had their special for two. Chicken is moist and beef is tender! So good we recommend this place to anyone looking for a great meal spiced to perfection.

Mantu is great and also the Eggplant.

Don’t forget their Lamb shank! Tender and so flavourful.

“I haven't been to Vieux Duluth in years. I was hoping for lamb but was disappointed to see it off the menu. I ordered a simple hamburger steak but was discouraged with a hard piece of meat. Nicolas was on the ball with another waiter to fix the problem. Chicken breast with more salad. Mom had chicken and shrimp. Great service. My mother was having a bad nosebleed and extra napkins and concern from everyone. Staff and other clients !!! Great and warm atmosphere. We'll be back soon !!!!“

“I used to come here quite often a few years back, and I would always order the chicken Caesar wrap, which has always been my all-time favorite, so that’s exactly what I chose for my takeout order. Let me just say, the consistency and quality has remained the same throughout the years.

There’s a good amount of chicken in the wrap, perfectly cooked, with plenty of Caesar sauce, lettuce, and bits of bacon. The tortilla itself is soft, and overall, it’s very flavorful.

It also comes with gravy, coleslaw salad, and the option to choose rice or fries. I opted for the rice, which was perfectly cooked and well seasoned.“

“About a month ago I had food delivered to my home. I misunderstood the young gentleman’s question and accidentally responded that we don’t order Benny & Co often. I’m actually we do. We just usually pick it up ourselves instead of having it delivered. He was very friendly and nice. So I feel bad for saying the wrong thing.

We do enjoy the food too and it’s we prefer it over the other rotisserie chicken places. Service is usually very friendly (with the exception of one time a long time ago).“
