“Very clean. Seems newly renovated but the ambiance and decor was exceptional. The food was freshly prepared. We had the vegetarian thali plates and the servings were generous for the price - all under $20.

The food was spiced according to our requests and the breads were freshly baked. Our server was attentive and well acquainted with the menu items.

“Kui is honestly my go-to Korean BBQ spot in Verdun! We always have such a great time here, and the service is consistently excellent. I also love that it’s BYOW, which makes it such a fun spot for a date night or dinner with friends.

Prices vary depending on whether you visit during the week or on the weekend, and the weekend menu has a few extras that are definitely worth trying.

The brisket is a MUST for me — sliced super thin, tender, and so good every single time. This visit we also tried the cheesy corn for the first time and loved it. And if you’re there on the weekend, definitely get the salmon tartare! It was fresh, flavorful and absolutely delicious.

“Went to Montreal recently for a bachelor party and after one of the guys got too drunk, I needed to go out for a meal on my own. I found Diablos and it was the nicest surprise. Visiting from Toronto with my mom and two daughters. My kids are super super picky so for me I would have ventured to various restaurants in Montreal I decided to settle for something i can guarantee my kids will eat and im happy we did stop at chalet bbq.

“Very vibey inside like you're in a street market in Asia. Also each table feels a little intimate in setting and there are wall separators so it's not too loud.

Each table has a range hood it's not too loud and it's super efficient I didn't come out with my clothes or hair smelling. You get a bunch of side dishes you can refill unlimited and the food was all really good. Our bibimbap bowl didn't have the crust at the bottom but they corrected the issue. The meat all tasted really good. We also ordered a marinated meat but got the unmarinated and was charged unmarinated meat so nbd but I would say to double check your order to be sure it's what you got and up to your standard. They're accommodating.

Service was great, you can flag down any server and ask for what you need.

We got the short ribs, pork Jowl, pork shoulder. All delicious, different, tender. Various sauces too. Next time, I'd probably not get the bibimbap and just more meat.“
