“We went this evening with 13 people and we all loved it. Having been in China for several months, this is the closest thing, and I have tried many Chinese restaurants in Montreal. Absolutely delicious!Vegetarian options: Lots of tofu and vegetable dishes. Their salt and pepper tofu is excellent! Di San Xian is also perfect.”
“Beautiful restaurant in Verdun with amiable service. Our food arrived very quickly. The ambiance was amazing. The food was a let down. We had carbonara pasta and Lia Pizza. Pasta was well cooked but it was way too salty. Pizza was soggy due to the tomato sauce, but the ingredients were better, and sadly the crust were super burnt. We did notify the waiter about it. Overall, the experience was fun but the food was below average and overpriced.”

“This is a small place, about 400 meters from metro De l'Église.It's less than half of the size of the St Viateur Falafel Yoni.Imagine a middle Eastern falafel style.The demi pita is recommended, as they fill it generously.The service is quick and efficient.You'll be asked spicy or regular and here or to go.Open daily 11 to 9.”
“The plantains were so soft with crispy edges! We tried as much as we could: fried plantains, chicharon (pork belly with crispy skin), beef, chicken, sausages. All very tasty with the house's garlic mayo and smokey mayo. We also tried the manioc balls filled with chicken/beef and empanadas. Would recommend them to try. The empanadas have a lovely thin and crispy skin and the manioc balls have a soft, crispy texture.We'd recommend clearer menus, but it seems like you can order whatever you want, so long as they have the ingredients. The owner mentioned that even though it says they close at 7pm on Google, to come in to eat so long as we see her there. Lovely new resto to have in the neighborhood!”

The cats feel at home and safe with strangers. They’ll simply retreat when they’ve had enough fun. It’s clean and there’s a good amount of seating. Everyone there was very friendly and polite. Lots of other events during the week too, with oyster specials on Wednesdays and superb DJ entertainment on Fridays at 10 p.m.The food menu is small, but always of good quality, while being renewed regularly.There is also a very nice choice of cocktails at prices that still remain reasonable.The staff is always caring and smiling and the setting is very pleasant.You also have a more cozy and quiet space on the mezzanine floor, with benches.We always come out of Palco in a good mood and refreshed!”
“This is my fiancé’s favourite place to go for Thai. He loves their duck. He’s never had a better meal. He will literally go there just to eat the duck! The food otherwise is fresh and flavourful. The staff working there are kind and very knowledgeable of their menu. The atmosphere is calm and clean. Great for families of date night. They also have a terrace and nice bar for drinks. It can be pricey though if you want to try the full range of menu options in one go- which we recommend you do!”

I arrive, they had an overorder I guess but it's not ready. The lady at the counter who I think is also a cook, super nice, apologizes, goes to prepare it for me herself, puts in extra cheese and gives me a drink. All that and I didn't even complain because no one deserves to be yelled at afterwards for a slight delay. Anyways, excellent pizza too, especially with the sesame on the crust.”

“This is my place for quick sushi. Three blocks from my house, I pick them up and come back home to eat. I adore! The employees are welcoming, the service is fast and I love their sushi. Well, I always take a 20 pieces chef's choice (to which they always add 6 pieces so... value for money? Excellent!) and I should perhaps vary a little because there are lots of other things that seem delicious on the menu but... maybe one day. In the meantime, super happy. Lunch or dinner. :)”

“BEST COFFEE ON THE PLANET. Whenever I’m in Montreal I make it a point to go to Balance. I got married in Montreal last year and my brother (who’s even more into coffee than I am) asked where I get my coffee from. He made a stop on his way out of town just to stock up on Balance coffee. The staff is great and the coffee is phenomenal. If you love coffee, GO HERE.”
“They've got the best espresso in Verdun. The benches outside are perfect for a quick break during your commute with a coffee in your hand. Lovely staff, the bathrooms are clean and the wifi works super well if you need to study or get some work done on your computer. “The hazelnut puffs are so addicting! The way they cook (deep fry) the puffs makes them crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. It's like biting into a cloud - light and airy. The hazelnut flavour is my favourite. I've also tried the plain uncoated and choco-loco flavours, which were okay. My partner prefers the choco-loco ones - it depends what your preferences are. It's easy to eat a lot of these because they're not as dense as regular/more traditional donuts so try to control yourself! I must say though, after having these donuts I don't enjoy regular donuts as much anymore. I definitely recommend trying these!”

Really loved the treatment we received there and the food was good too! Would definitely go back again. The wait wasn't long at all either. There were a few tables to eat inside but we got it to go.”

“Having previously been here a few months ago I have to say that there’s certainly been a lot of changes. For one the dining area is a lot more spacious, the staff seems to be more engaged with the clientèle (previously I went and there was a girl more focused on staring at her phone then helping out the customers as well as, a man in his thirties CLEARLY high, glad to see that isnt the case) While some of the decor is questionable the service more than makes up for it, not that the decor was any better, the previous owners seemed to have hidden behind the word rustic as excuse for having an outdated aesthetic. While nothing truly special visually my experience here has vastly improved since the last :)”
“Making this our final stop in Montreal before heading back to the US was the best decision we could have made. I love the concept and the food was phenomenal and fresh! The cats feel at home and safe with strangers. They’ll simply retreat when they’ve had enough fun. It’s clean and there’s a good amount of seating. Everyone there was very friendly and polite.
