“Joli petit resto de quartier. J y suis allé pour le brunch et la nourriture est excellente et variée. Les plats sont généreux et les prix sont abordables. Service chaleureux mais le resto devrait prévoir d avantage de personnel durant le week-end car le serveur était visiblement débordé. Je recommande de réservé car le resto est petit.“

“Mixed review. Space is charming. Hot chocolate varieties are great. Service was hit & miss. Crepe delivered without cutlery. Waited to flag staff to ask for cutlery; had to wait again for cutlery. Crepe got cold in the meantime. Hot chocolate delivered after the crepe. When paying, the cashier had to search for my bill. Hope they sort out their service.“

“Excellent place for breakfast, the service is good and the place is cute, the fruit was fresh and delicious. The crepe is very good and the accessories like the ham have a very good flavor. (I give it 4* because one of the pancakes came out dry but I think it was an occasional mistake)“

“Visited Ginkgo for brunch on a Sunday morning. Despite not having a reservation, we only waited about 15-20 minutes for a group of five, which wasn’t bad at all. The interior of the place is stunning—truly impressive design.The service added to the experience; the staff were friendly, cracking jokes and making us feel very welcome. We found the menu was mainly in French, which wasn’t an issue for us since we could read it, but it’s something to note if you’re not a French speaker.The smoked salmon omelette was a highlight—stuffed with plenty of salmon, cream cheese, and capers, it was so flavorful that I might even prefer it over a traditional smoked salmon benedict. The Florentine omelette was also excellent, loaded with cheese and spinach, and the portion sizes were just right. The classic smoked salmon benedict was exactly as you’d want it to be, hitting all the right notes.Overall, Ginkgo is a fantastic spot if you’re looking for a cute, upscale place for brunch over the weekend in Montreal. Just be prepared to wait a bit if you don’t have a reservation. I’m definitely looking forward to another visit next time I’m in town!“

“I was brought here for my birthday and was served a wide variety of dishes from their menu. The portions were generous, the service was warm and courteous, the atmosphere comfortable, and the pricing very fair. The dishes were wonderful fusions of flavours that complimented each other amazingly well. Everything tasted and looked fresh. New ideas as well as traditional foods expertly prepared and presented with perfect timing between dishes. I will certainly go back to try everything I didn't have time for. TL:DR - A must-go for anybody that enjoys having their taste buds charmed!“
