“Very clean. Seems newly renovated but the ambiance and decor was exceptional. The food was freshly prepared. We had the vegetarian thali plates and the servings were generous for the price - all under $20.

The food was spiced according to our requests and the breads were freshly baked. Our server was attentive and well acquainted with the menu items.

Will definitely be going back regularly.“

“We were craving some good Indian food, and this place did not disappoint! We had the dum biryani, Chicken 65, and rumali roti. The biryani was flavorful and not overly oily, and the rumali roti was incredibly soft and served nice and hot.

The service was great, and the host was very kind and welcoming. He even made us fresh ginger chai after dinner, which was such a nice touch and the perfect way to end the meal. We really enjoyed everything and would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Montreal“

“This place was a recent discovery while I was walking through the MURAL Festival, and what a find it was. I wish I had photos to share, but you’ll just have to take my word for it… everything was absolutely delicious.

The samosas are a must-order. They come with a spicy date chutney and a refreshing yogurt-mint sauce, both of which complement them perfectly. We also tried the potato patties topped with chickpeas, similar to aloo gobi chaat?, but elevated with caramelized onions and sweet pickled cabbage that added incredible flavor and texture.

What makes this spot even better is how affordable it is, especially considering its prime location. The staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and genuinely passionate about what they do, which made the experience even more enjoyable.

And don’t even get me started on the mango lassi. It was absolutely decadent: rich, refreshing, perfectly sweet, and tasted completely natural with no artificial flavors. At only $4, it might just be one of the best deals in the city.
