The horchata was perfectly spiced but a touch too sweet for my liking (though this didn't deter me from refilling my glass multiple times). The disappointment was the churros. I like them piping hot with a rich, tender, and almost custard-y interior. These churros were room temp and crunchy all the way through. The atmosphere's very pleasant & cozy, the staff is extremely friendly and the food is excellent.On the Food; there's a good variety of items (tacos, quesadilla, sea food, etc.) to chose from as well as being within a very budget friendly range. Favorite items so far has been the Tacos de Asada & the grilled Octopus (forgot the Menu item name but it's currently the 6th image when viewing the restaurant on google).Be sure to ask about their Nachos (new item they've recently added). Additionally, book your reservations online ! There's limited seating available and they an be filled very quickly.Overall, excellent food served in a very cozy environment. Granted the place is fairly simple, and the menu not too extravagant, but the food is amazing. A must go to place!Parking: This restaurant is located in a strip mall and shares a free parking lot.Wheelchair accessibility: Unfortunately, this place is not wheelchair accessible mainly because there is a small entrance with a second door that is not automatic. It is not wide enough for a wheelchair.“

“I love the food and the ambiance! However, the last time I went, we were a group of 4, we received one of the worst services ever: It took over 15 minutes for the waiter to take our drinks order. Then another 10 to come back and take our food order. Was then served our entrée prior to receiving our drinks. Waited another 40 min for our food, when he never entered the order, and additionally he never came back during our time to ever ask us if we needed anything else, or how the food was. In the end, he screwed up my bill and when I told him, his reply was "It's ok". No Sir, it isn't ok (this about 3x) as I had to insist that I was not going to pay for something I never ordered. The place was also veeeerry quiet. Had it been a busy night, I'd have understood, but it was dead.“

“In desperate need to book a restaurant at the last minute, I called El Meson and asked to reserve a table for 8 people on that same day. The lady on the phone was super ? She was very understanding and helpful. I was able to reserve for 8 people last night for my partner's 26th birthday celebration ? Given that we were 8 people, I thought the food will take time to come in, but our plates started coming in very shortly after we ordered our meals... Everyone in our table had nothing but good things to say about the food. The portions were more than enough!!! Our friends said that the Carne Asada was cooked to perfection ?? My other friends enjoyed their Beef and Chicken tacos ? My partner liked his Pollo Barbacoa ? My Chicken Fajita was sizzling when it came to our table that one of my friends even commented and said that he also wishes that his food came in with sound effects ? Also, their secret hot sauce was so good that we wanted to buy a whole bottle of it ? The restaurant’s prices were so reasonable and the quality of the food exceeded our expectations! Unfortunately, I thought an order was missing and I quickly contacted Uber and they adjusted my bill. I’m now in the process for Uber to correct my mistake.“

His service was pretty satisfactory, but his cooking was great! Menu had a nice variety of dishes spread between Salvadoran & Mexican cuisine. The prices blew me away with how good they were, I ended up ordering 2 pupusas as well as an entire platter. If it wasn't so out of the way for me, I'd come here on the regular & ensure he stays in business.“

“A little restaurant in the heart of Plateau with amazing, authentic mexican food for small prices. We discovered this gem on January 1st. The ambiance is really cool, a lot of Mexican decoration and murals inside. We ordered the J'ai faim taco mix and a quesadilla mix. When the food arrived, the dishes looked so fresh and delicious we didn't even think to take a picture, we just dived in. The cochinita was our favourite hands down.
