Beyond the great food, El Gordo is a pillar of the community, providing toys and scooters for kids in the park and offering free coffee and workspace during power outages. It is a bit far from the city but worth the trip, especially for those visiting the circuit or venturing across the river. As the sign says, life is short, eat more tacos.
