“Oh my God, what a magnificent discovery!!!!! I loved the family atmosphere of this little Mexican restaurant. The food is excellent. The server was friendly. I have only one negative comment, when we taste our soup, wait until we finish it, until we serve it before serving us our main meal! This is the 2nd Mexican restaurant that has done this to me, and it always gives me the impression that they are in a hurry to see us leave. When we go to a restaurant, it's to relax and take our time. Otherwise I recommend 100% and I can't wait to go back!!!

“My mango salsa and spicy cauliflower veggie tacos were a tastebud reverie. I'll be returning soon to discover the next delight on the menu. Since moving from the American Southwest, I've been hard-pressed to find Mexican food that matched my expectations. Dirty tacos exceeded them!

“I’m disabled and found it easy to walk into the place. It wasn’t overly crowded but had enough people to make it feel very lively! I started with the tortilla soup, then had the fish tacos and to drink I tried the strawberry Jarritos and a sip of their margarita which I’d have again on a warm day ☀️ Everything was delicious, the staff was patient and courteous. I felt very comfortable and I’m already planning my next visit for the springtime!“

“Went for the AYCE option a couple months ago (around 50$ per person). I do not know if the offer is still available, but if it is I would heavily recommend everyone to go. The food was succulent, and the service was very friendly. The location is small, but they give decent portions. You will definitely get your money's worth“

“A nice surprise finding this Mexican place with our family, everything was really great for the price range. I can’t recall the dish name but my favourite was the steak, chicken, Shrimp and Nopales with cheese which was listed for 2 but easily could feed 4 pending how big you eat. The kids got tacos, burritos and steak fajitas and wings.“

“A little hidden gem, friendly staff, authentic restaurant and the food is delicious. Probably the best Mexican restaurant on the South Shore.
Vegetarian options: Just asking the owner is very accommodating he made me a special mix of grilled vegetables for my tacos and even suggested I bring my own tofu next time he will season it for me and grill it a nice open of spirit!“

“Recomendable. El servicio es rápido y los tacos de suadero están muy buenos. Ojalá continúen ofreciendo la cantidad, los precios y la excelente calidad que ahora. “Loved this place! The vibe was beautiful, and I’d definitely recommend the vegetarian tacos - they were actually really good (though I’d seen some mixed reviews, for me they were not dry at all) Very enjoyable dish!
Service was quick, and everyone there was super kind. My sister was a big fan of her beef tacos too.
Plus, the portions were solid for the price. All around, a great spot!

“Pretty good burito got the pork AL Pastor. It was a good size, and the service was quick but minimal. I do not recommend getting the tortilla chip. It was less than passable. Also, anyone who likes spice, I would say the spicy sauce is a low medium.“

“I always enjoy Mexican food. Of course each place varies in quality but otherwise never disappoints. This cafe Cantina was awesome! The wait might be a little long depending on staff and if it’s very busy but it’s worth the wait for sure! My burrito was quite hefty and very good! I hope to return again soon. Friendly owner too. “The food is absolutely delicious! I would say the only negative about this place is the service. I came in when there was nobody else and the 2 staff members didn’t acknowledge me as I waited. I could tell they were filling up the food bins and didn’t mind waiting. A simple, “be with you soon” would have been great. Instead they ignored me until they were done. Other than that, amazing place and will definitely be back again!“

“Totally exceeded expectations. The portions are sufficient, the ingredients are fresh, and the sauce tastes great. Especially praiseworthy is that the meat tastes delicious and the dragon fruit sauce is also amazing.

But the best part is that they have a grocery part with products that are kind of hard to find unless you live near those latino grocery stores in Montreal. Authentic and Mexican. Absolute must try!!Seriously though, the horchata is crazy delicious.“
