“I tried 2 dishes from the menu. The goat double, and the fried rice x Oxtail (and a limonade). My favourite was the double. The chickpea and the meat were cooked in a delicious sauce, really reminded me of “Massalé” in La Réunion. The cucumber salade was so good on top. I like the oxtail, but I’m so bad with bone lol. The cook she was so nice ! She asked me if I was from Mauritius, she was almost right ! Long live to Indian Ocean people !!
The music was great.
It’s definitely a place I will recommend.“

“Had the oxtail at Tropical Paradise and it was excellent — truly fall-off-the-bone tender and full of flavor. Everything tasted fresh, the portion size was generous, and the service was incredibly fast. I barely had time to sit down before the food came out. On top of that, the staff were really friendly and welcoming. Solid spot if you’re looking for great Caribbean comfort food in Montreal. I’ll definitely be back.“

“My brother from TO was in town, so i brought him for some great 👍 food... He had the Ackee & Saltfish, i had the Jerk chicken, we agreed that it's the best Jamaican food in town... Thanks 😊 guys... Mon frère de TO était en ville, alors je lui ai amené pour de la bonne nourriture... Il a prit l'Ackee & Saltfish, j'avais le poulet Jerk, nous avons convenu que c'était la meilleure cuisine Jamaïcaine en ville. . . Merci 😊 les gars...“

I recommend without hesitation!
Almost perfect score but sometimes it seems they are not open during normal hours.
But I've tried almost all of their product and it's very fresh at a reasonable price.
I will continue to go there for my girlfriend because she loves it so much!

“Super friendly place, particularly the guy running it. It's been years since I had a roti, and this place makes a really good one. Definitely worth trying out if you're in the mood for some Caribbean food. I'll be going back to get some jerk chicken and to try the fish cakes.“

“Had chicken rotis from Greenz and they are absolutely incredible - best we’ve ever had. Spicing was tremendous with its own personality. Chicken was super tender and the stew was creamy. I’ll be heading back for seconds. Recommended 200%!“

“Gouter Tropical is as authentic as it gets, coming from a fellow Haitian. They have the best Haitian food I've had, and they are the best Haitian restaurant in the area. I was on a mini trip in Montreal, and I ate here several times, and I enjoyed it, will be back for sure. Bon manje lakay!!!! Thanks again.“
