“We’ve eaten numerous times at Bistro Jaybi and the food never misses ! They’ve been experimenting a special menu like on Tuesday it’s griot tacos (10/10) that come with a tomatillo sauce and piklis, they also had a griot souvlaki (9.5/10), the griot pizza ( 10/10)and we still need to try the griot poutine and sushi ! Cannot wait to see what else they come out with :)“
“I was passing through the Laval intersection and I couldn't miss it. I had a kole rice dish with BBQ chicken. I added extra plantains. Everything was PURE delicious, I ate it all! The only downside is that the bananas are very thin, but besides that, I really liked it! I highly recommend!?“
“Ordered the goat curry, the jerk chicken, and their beef patties, and they were all delicious! Perfect amount of spicy in the goat curry, and very generous portions in all plates. Plantains prepared just like back home?? definitely ordering again!“
“Great little spot . Really good jerk chicken and our friends had other dishes . Nice portions and really authentic . People so nice . Mostly an order out or delivery but they have two tables and they are so nice and treated us so well. Just a little stroll through Ndg and found this little “
“If you're craving a taste of the Caribbean, look no further than TNT Palace. While visiting Montréal, I was craving authentic Caribbean food and discovered a restaurant called TNT Palace. I ordered a mouthwatering Chicken Roti and Stew Chicken with potato salad, and let me tell you, it was a culinary delight from start to finish. The Chicken Roti was a flavorful masterpiece, with tender pieces of chicken enveloped in a perfectly spiced, flaky roti wrap. Each bite was a symphony of spices, with just the right balance of heat and savory goodness. As for the Stew Chicken and potato salad, it was a comforting plate of goodness that warmed both the body and the soul. I was transported to the streets of Trinidad and Tobago, where the aroma of simmering spices fills the air.So if you're looking for a taste of Trinidad that will leave you craving more, head over to TNT Palace. Whether you're a seasoned fan of Caribbean cuisine or a newcomer eager to explore new flavors, you won't be disappointed. Trust me, your taste buds will thank you!“
“Some dishes are cooked to order!!! Good food, the chef is pationate and pays attention to detail. An over all good dinning experience.Vegetarian options: Any one who knows Jamaican food knows that their veggie options are always delightful.Kid-friendliness: Clean place, french fries and macaroni pie on the menu for the kids to indulge In.“
“First, nice up portions! If you want AUTHENTIC JAMAICAN FOOD this is the place. The cow foot soup, sweeeeet. King Fish, fresh and nice. Rice, fluffy and delicious. Oxtail, tender clean and not heavy. So flavourful. Let me tell you about the dumplings and Pattie!!!! Crispy and juicy. This food was too good I couldn’t even stop to take pictures of it. Everything was great. Thanks for your service !!! By the way I placed an Uber order, I can only imagine going in person!! <3- Tina .“
“Great friendly courteous service I was lucky enough to purchase a couple of Fruit cakes and 3 Jamaican black cakes before they were all scooped up. They are absolutely flavorful, delicious, and the texture is right on and without doubt the best in Quebec . The dozen beef and chicken patties I bought lasted 2 days. Just too good to keep frozen. I'll be returning soon.“
“I was thrilled andexcited to learn they had a west island location. I used to go to theCDN location whenever possible but can’t anymore with that big staircase outside I need wheelchair access these days.the roti from all of their locations is fantastic!zero I do miss going to the CDN location with the amazing reggae grooves always playing. If I’m not mistaken, they used to have live reggae bandringing playing all the timebackin they day when I used to frequent back in the day in the 90’s“
“Read some bad reviews but I decided to ignore them. I’m glad I did because the ox tail dish was amazing. Yes the place could use a bit of work but if you’re there to enjoy the decor you’ll be disappointed. Give them a try and talk to them like they are human. They laugh and smile too :) I’ll definitely be going back to try the other dishes.“
“Visited here on a return trip with my 14yr old to show him my go to spot for patties and Rock cake back in the 90's. Sadly though the patties aren't the same anymore but I'm happy to say the rock cake is just as good as I remember, you can still smell the aroma of them baking in back of the store just like I remember as a kid growing up. This is a must stop for me to grab a few packs of rock cake to take back to Toronto.“
“I randomly walked in a few days ago and was served exceptionally well. The ambiance is very warm and wholesome. The food was very delicious. I would highly recommend, especially if you're into Caribbean food. I wish them the best. Places like these deserve it.“
“Simple and straight forward. 1 or 2 tables, but I always get my chicken patties to go at their counter, and have at home. Always greeted with a smile and friendly service. I get 6 at a time for a great price and tasty meal. The best patties !!!“
“@Backyard bro construction crew had the pleasure of trying this amazing place this afternoon, We ordered the j*** chicken, and it was mouth watering packed with flavor The atmosphere in the place is so welcoming the young lady behind the counter is Sweetheart and so kind I will definitely be back.“
“I called to place an order for the soup. The sever was a bit rude on the phone and responding in a harsh way. They told me it would be ready in 15 minutes, but still had to wait extra time when I got there. Then paid 25$ for a soup that was not even filled to the middle of the bowl. I would advise anyone to save their money and go somewhere else.“
“Best hot sauce in Montreal! Delicious roti, jerk, and doubles!Someday, I will try the oxtail stew and the breadfruit roti. But when I walk through that door, all I'm ever thinking is, "goat roti with LOTS of that magic orange sauce!"“
“This is as close as it gets as the food from Trinidad. We'll be going back for sure. If you know about west indian food, you'll be pleased that you can find a properly spiced meal in Montreal. Doubles, chickpeas, dhalpouri, goat meat and more with a little very hot spice sauce to go with it. (On the side for those who don't like it too hot)“
“I had made an order online and didn't quite understand the difference between one kind that could be made 2 different ways (rolls and handrolls) so I chose the one I thought was the 6 pcs but was very mistaken. When I got home and opened it I was so upset that it was one large piece and not the 6 small ones. I called the restaurant back and explained what happened and I was amazed when they said to just bring it back and they would remake it the actual way I wanted. They explained it to me but were not rude or judgmental. The service was outstanding and I was so appreciative since I am on a very tight budget and this lunch was supposed to me my "treat". I certainly couldn't afford to pay again so I'm so grateful for them. Thank you“
“Definitely Ordering Again!!!This was my first Creole Cuisine experience and I will be coming for many more.I ordered the Large Griot which was rich in flavour and tender. I thoroughly enjoyed the rice that came with the pork. My only drawback is the pasta salad, which I didn't feel went with the meal.Vegetarian options: There are a few vegetarian options availableParking: There is parking nearby, but the restaurant is situated on a pretty busy street“
“Excellently prepared and fresh, authentic Haitian food! Highly recommend for those who like to try new things!! My Mediterranean palate was completely satisfied here. The Lalo (Jews Mallow) with rice and the fried red snapper were my favorite dishes!“
“Best Haitian food in town. Fresh tasty great service and professional. The owner is a sweetheart always caring for his customers. Been craving his food during my pregnancy and hubby can't get enough of the food as well.Keep up the good work. Makes me really proud to be Haitian. ??“
