“Very good griot & rice, the.meat they use for the griot is very lean which I love, other place often use the very far pieces (some people like this but I don't eat those pieces)... The sauce and pikliz are very good too. The only thing that could be improved is their banana peze, they are a bit too thick and I think they prepare them too much in advance and then just re-heat them, which is definitely not as good as fresh plantain!“
“Still delicious in my opinion, it's the best griot in Laval. The portions are generous and what about the wow sauce! Everything is perfect, from the food to the boss who always welcomes us in a good mood and with a smile. I highly recommend it's worth the detour!“
“(Translated by Google) I like this place the fritay is the oil ?? the ladies are kind and happy unlike other places(Original)J'aime bien cette place le fritay est l'huile ??les madame sont gentilles et joyeux contrairement a d'autre place“

“Forgot how much I love everything at Nolah! Raw oysters were served with an amazing sauce and the scallops were cooked to perfection! Served with crispy onions and a quinoa and corn base and squash and cilantro sauce left nothing to be desired *with my bf’s green vegetables. Pricey but well worth it! Bourbon bread pudding is perfect with load of Bourbon! If you haven’t been it is worth a visit!“
“I was welcomed very warmly. The griot plate was simply phenomenal and the macaroni salad that is included in the plate did not taste "store" like many other places! I can't wait to go back, thank you for this taste of Haitian “
“Marabou: A Taste of Créole DelightFor our recent experience at Marabou, we opted for the Tassot boeuf priced at $18, accompanied by the refreshing Kola Champagne for just $2.Although the restaurant has recently reopened its dining room, we savored our meal from the comfort of our own home. Nevertheless, I must mention that the cozy dining area, with its handful of tables for four, would have been a good option too. While the interior could benefit from a bit of tender loving care, the tantalizing aromas of home cooking engulf the space, captivating the senses. The friendly staff swiftly prepared our order, and we were delighted to find that the portions are still generously sized, easily satisfying two people. The exceptional value for money truly stood out.Having been a regular patron of Marabou for quite some time, I can confidently say that it never disappoints. If you find yourself craving the rich and flavorful Créole cuisine, a visit to Marabou is a must.“
“Some friends are celebrating my husband's birthday. that was a wonderful experience. The staff are very nice. You can choose the spiciness. It's super delicious. I especially like shrimp. My husband likes crabs. The corn and potatoes are delicious, and the rice is filled with juices that you can't stop. Will go again. Worth recommending,“
“Looking for comfort food and lively place? Check out the folks at La Louisiane! YUM. YUM. YUM!!! So happy I was introduced me to this fantastic restaurant!! I recommend getting there early (5:30pm) because it gets packed later. Single stall washrooms with no labels is the most euphoric experience ever - BRAVO ? Hip playlist that had me pulling out Shazam every tune ? Had me singing and dancing in my seat ? corn bread was grilled SO good I’ve never had it like that before! Fried chicken, chef vegetables, Dino ribs & banana foster w/ Lemonade that had a cellulose straw ? I even tried to eat the straw ? Everything was SO good I can’t wait to go back! Other dishes I wanted to try like the mussels and fries, blackened fish, crab cakes looked good as I watched other people get their food! They do have gluten free pasta & jambalaya I wish I could have sat there and feasted all day ? The mural on the wall was lovely as well. I dig the vibe of this rad place ??Service was attentive & everyone was so friendly and welcoming. I felt like I was hanging out with friends & was super at ease ?“
“We had an amazing dinner and they surprised us with a complimentary salad and plantains tray. What a delicious experience. Philippe was so friendly, reliable and professional. The Food was well-packaged and delivered on- time without spilling.Thank you so muchI“
“Excellent food! I'm not in the area very often but I needed a quick bite to eat and it was getting quite late. Happy I stumbled across this place and that they were still open and willing to serve me! The lady at the counter was so nice and friendly and certainly didn't have to be, at the end of the day, after what was probably a long shift. To all those complaining in the reviews section. Be thankful you have a place like this close by to you, that is still around after surviving a really tough year in the restaurant industry. I would kill to have this kind of food near me! But it is non-existent in my area. The fish with butter sauce was top notch! With diri kole, pikliz and perfectly cooked plantains on the side. One word "delicious"! ????“
“Definitely Ordering Again!!!This was my first Creole Cuisine experience and I will be coming for many more.I ordered the Large Griot which was rich in flavour and tender. I thoroughly enjoyed the rice that came with the pork. My only drawback is the pasta salad, which I didn't feel went with the meal.Vegetarian options: There are a few vegetarian options availableParking: There is parking nearby, but the restaurant is situated on a pretty busy street“
“Excellently prepared and fresh, authentic Haitian food! Highly recommend for those who like to try new things!! My Mediterranean palate was completely satisfied here. The Lalo (Jews Mallow) with rice and the fried red snapper were my favorite dishes!“
“Best Haitian food in town. Fresh tasty great service and professional. The owner is a sweetheart always caring for his customers. Been craving his food during my pregnancy and hubby can't get enough of the food as well.Keep up the good work. Makes me really proud to be Haitian. ??“
