Marabou Reviews
I have tried the griot, tassot cabrit, and chicken with rice and peas + plantains. The food was extremely flavorful, the portions were generous, and the service was very warm. I will definitely come back next time I visit Montreal, this will be my go-to Haitian restaurant.

Marabou offers an authentic Haitian dining experience with well-seasoned, flavorful dishes. The portions are generous, and the prices are affordable, with a small dish of Griot available for around $11. The staff is kind and courteous, contributing to a pleasant dining experience. While some dishes, like the Griot plate, have been praised for their nice pieces of pork and fried plantain, others may leave room for improvement. Some customers have noted that the rice at Marabou is exceptional, even for those who typically do not enjoy it. Although there may be too many pieces of fat in the Griot sometimes, the overall experience is enjoyable and worth repeating to explore the diverse Haitian cuisine. The restaurant is somewhat hidden away, but the food is phenomenal, making it a place to return to and recommend.
