Amazing! Best sushi ever! I recommend 100%. The food is so fresh and the staff is super welcoming :)
We wanted to try something different and opted NOT to uber. This place is rated highly so we gave it a try.
At first glance you would classify this place as “a hole in the wall”. It’s very small and a bit dark (I had to use my phone flashlight to read the menu).

Saiko is always a first choice for a culinary experience quite exceptional for a neighbourhood restaurant without pretension, of the calibre of some much more expensive restaurants and some sushi bars in Tokyo. Letting the chef create the menu results in an excellent experience with a succession of small gastronomic discoveries not on the menu. Customers particularly enjoy the seafood and fish, which are always fresh and of good quality. The fish tartar is a must-try, featuring two tuna pieces and two salmon pieces, each with fried perilla leaves. The restaurant is run by a family, ensuring consistent quality and welcoming service. Staff like Mr. Kim are often praised for their kindness and attentiveness, sometimes going above and beyond, such as bringing a big fried green tea ice cream with a candle for special occasions. Saiko is highly recommended as a quaint place with next-level delicious sushi, making it one of the best sushi restaurants in the Greater Montreal Area. It remains a favorite, with many customers eager to return for more of its authentic and fresh offerings.
