I had eaten in this location 3 years ago and I gave 5 stars from the food, to the service, to the cleanliness and maintenance of the building. But, today I have to say I was disappointed like I have never been by a breakfast restaurant. The food was horrible; fruits were not fresh. Specifically the strawberry seemed to be served from frozen. The philly steak in the omelette, well we took 2-3 spoonful and then the rest went straight to the trash. The potato cubes were very bland and sad. There were between 10-15 tables and only two waiters, so we had to wait and wait every time we needed anything which was maybe 2-3 times. The state of the restaurant itself was horrible. There was a good layer of dust on the edges of the banquets separating the tables. There were missing or non-functional bulbs hanging from the ceiling all around. The carpet at the entrance were full of dead leaves, looking like it wasn't cleaned for quite a few days. All in all, I believe the owner has been cutting in every possible way to increse the in-flow of benefits, but nothing to make customers return to this location.

It was incredibly cold, I didn't write a bad review the first time I went but a year later I noticed that the same problems remained; it's cold, the meal arrives lukewarm and becomes cold after 4 minutes..

UPDATE: We were there today (9/4/24). The portions small, the food was cold and the fruit old. BUT we spoke to Manager Nathalie she was amazing, very understanding, giving us a complementary brunch for our next visit. Now that’s customer service!! We will be back soon. PREVIOUS REVIEW: We used to go to the Sainte Dorothee Allo, but no more, we prefer Centropolis as the servers are MUCH friendlier especially Sarah, who was our waitress recently. She was so sweet and professional. Thanks Sarah & Allo for a delicious breakfast!!

I ordered the avocado Swiss cheese on an English muffin and imagine that they placed the cheese on the cold muffin (so cheese which did not melt) and an avocado cut in half on each half (avocado hard and without anything even salt and pepper and not even cut) then the poached egg on top cold too! I asked for the sauce on the side which was also cold :) nothing was good So disappointed I won't set foot there again!

I was honestly disappointed with the overal experience.
The food was okay but definitely not the best breakfast spot.
I have been going to Allo mon coco for the past 20 years and it was my absolute favourite brunch spot! Unfortunately the quality of the food got so bad.. very little portions , very poor taste.. it used to be very generous plates.. the prices got up but the quality gone down.. it’s unfortunate

We often go there for brunch and we always get our money's worth with very generous portions, to the point of often sharing a plate between two people. The waitresses and waiters, including the friendly Priscilla, as well as all the employees (hostesses and table clearers) always give us fast and quality service. The dishes are always fresh and delicious.
